Okay, y'all!!!!! Here's chappie 12!!!!!! It's what you've been waiting for!!!

A New Kid In Town

Chapter 12: Confronting Them...

When the rest of them heard him say that, their jaws dropped wide open & stayed that way for a few moments, completely dumbfounded.
Once they got over the shock, Cindy asked, "How can this be possible?!"
"I don't know, but I have a feeling that Nick & Betty weren't being completely honest with us," Jimmy replied, highly suspicious.
Carl gasped & exclaimed, "You mean they DID drink the Purple Flurp?!!" :o
"Yes, I believe they did, but to be absolutely SURE, we'll have to get them to come to us," he told Carl thoughtfully.
"Okay, but, in case you haven't noticed," Jesse pointed out, "They ran AWAY from us whenever we approached them today."
"You DO have a point, there, Jesse!" Jimmy said, "They did. That's why we'll have to sedate them painlessly, transport them to my lab, & interrogate them firmly once they awaken!"
"Huh?" Sheen was completely clueless.
Libby sighed & informed him, "We're gonna put 'em to sleep, bring them to Jimmy's lab, & question them when they wake up, Sheen."
"That's right, Libby! I have the sedation vapors right here, so let's go!" Jimmy agreed, & brought them out of his lab.
Then he added firmly, the sedation vapors test tube in his hand, "Just wait here. I'll be back soon! C'mon, boy!"
Goddard barked & followed his master to the Candy Bar because that was the most recent place Jimmy'd seen them go. If my calculations are correct, Nick & Betty should still be in there!... he thought to himself as he entered the shop.
Then he saw some movement out of the corner of his eye towards the restrooms. He ran over there & cornered them, saying with the test tube of sedation vapors aimed at them & his other hand on the stopper, "Just give it up, Nick & Betty! Your efforts to evade me have been rendered worthless!! I KNOW you 2 weren't being honest with me when you said that you didn't consume the mind-controlling Purple Flurp!!!"
"Dude," Nick protested, "How do you keep finding us?? Isn't it obvious we were trying to AVOID you?!!"
"Yes, I knew that," Jimmy informed them, "But the 2 of you are going to have to come to my lab for serious questioning!"
"Forget it, Nerd-Bomb! Betty & I aren't admitting anything! Right, Betty?" Nick scoffed.
"Uh, yeah! That's right, Nick!" Betty replied uneasily.
"Okay, you 2! You leave me NO choice!" Jimmy told them, "Goddard, face mask!"
Goddard barked & used his robotic arm to put a ventilation mask over his master's nose & mouth.
He then pulled the stopper out of the test tube & its contents settled onto Betty & Nick, causing them to fall onto the floor, unconscious.
"Now grab their shirt collars & follow me back in 'chopper mode'," Jimmy instructed additionally.
Goddard barked & did just that as he followed him back to his lab.
Once there, Jimmy let the others & himself into his lab while Goddard still carried Nick & Betty.
Inside the lab, it took about 20 minutes for Nick & Betty to regain consciousness.
"What I'D like to know is why on earth you're pregnant, Miss I'm-So-Beautiful-&-Perfect!!!" Cindy snapped once Betty & Nick woke up.

Sooooo, how'd I do??? Lemme know, & keep replying, no matter HOW rarely I seem to post!!! Getting intense, isn't it?! :onfire: Keep buggin' me about it, & I'll keep postin'!!! ;)

Very interesting plot line, Amelia. ^_^ I'm interested to see this story's ending.

I would suggest separating each paragraph with a blank line, to make it easier to read. ^_^

A New Kid In Town

Chapter 13: Serious Interrogation



"Well, you 2," Jimmy informed Nick & Betty, "You might as well come clean since you're both in here with the rest of us & there's NO way I'm letting you out until the complete truth is admitted!"

"First of all, Neutron," Nick told him, "HOW did we end up here?!"

"I covered the 2 of you in a sleeping gas & had Goddard bring you here with me & the others," he calmly explained, "Then you woke up 20 minutes later."

"I am BEYOND appalled at the fact that you're pregnant, Betty!" Libby exclaimed. Then she added, "Ya know, this is only possible with a girl & a boy!! A girl can't get pregnant on her OWN!"

At that moment, every eye in the lab turned to stare at Nick, including Betty's.

He was used to this kind of attention, so he enjoyed it the first few moments. But, as time wore on, all that staring started to make him feel awkward, then guilty. The pressure inside him grew quickly until it reached its maximum, turning his face bright red & making him groan out of peer pressure. Then, he couldn't take it anymore. He screamed loudly & admitted, "Okay, FINE!!!! I admit it!! I got Betty pregnant!!! Everyone HAPPY now???!!"

"HA!! So you DID do it!" Sheen put in.

"You're not helping, Shine!" Nick hissed.

"It's SHEEN!!!" he snarled, annoyed that someone yet again mispronounced his name.

"Whatever," he muttered, not really listening.

Cindy thought for a few moments, then her mind clicked. "So THAT'S why I found her in the bathroom! She'd used a pregnancy test to find out if she's pregnant or not!!" she realized aloud.

"I think they already figured that out, Miss Big Mouth!" Betty muttered loudly, blushing deeply.

"So, are you 2 willing to admit you both drank the mind-controlling Purple Flurp?!" Jesse asked them.

"Yes, we did. Someone who looked almost exactly like you, Jimmy, told us it was a brand new soda drink, & that it was absolutely delicious!" Betty finally admitted.

"And you & Nick believed him??!" Jimmy gasped.

"How could we NOT, Nerd-Bomb?! He was very convincing!!! So, anyway, we both drank it, & we can't remember what happened right after that. The next thing we DO remember that happened was that she & I were at my place, in my bedroom, in bed together!

"We realized what must've happened, so, extremely embarrassed, we lept out of bed & threw our clothes back on before my mom saw us like that! We then made a mad dash for the Candy Bar to try to cover up what had happened between us. But, there wasn't anyone there, so I told Betty to use a pregnancy test & check to see if she was expecting in the girls' bathroom," Nick explained.

"While he was waiting for me to come out of there, I used a pregnancy test I'd secretly stowed in my back pocket & check to see if I was pregnant. It said I was, & right afterwards, I thought I heard someone come in the door. So I poked my head out & looked for myself.

"I saw that it was you guys & heard you talking about mind-controlling drinks & wondered, What the heck's THAT supposed to mean?! Then, our minds clicked & we told eachother that Purple Flurp we'd drank was mind controlling. But what we didn't get was why, if we drank it, it didn't last long like it did for everyone else. So, we decided to act like we were scared of those mind-controlled individuals & we hid from you; I was hidden in the girls' bathroom in the farthest corner & Nick wasn't far off, scrunched down behind the closest booth seat in the corner. And that's when you 'saved' us from the 'zombies', as we put it, & then we made up that story about not drinking that Purple Flurp & being scared of everyone else. Does that explain it, Jimmy?" Betty additionally put in.

"Yes, it does. Thank you, Betty," he replied thoughtfully.

"But there's one thing I still don't get, Neutron," Nick told him.

"What might that be, Nick?" Jimmy wanted to know.

"How did you find out Betty was pregnant from a distance?!" he questioned, confused.

"I just used my X-ray satellite in orbit of the earth to zoom in on our area until I saw Betty, then zoomed in further & saw the results of her pregnancy test. However, I wanted to be absolutely sure she was, so I used it to perform an overhead aerial ultrasound on her & zoomed in, & sure enough, I saw a developing embryo within her body," the boy genius calmly explained.

Then, suddenly, an alarm went off on VOX's screen. Jimmy immediately took a seat in front of his keyboard & began typing furiously.

When he finished, an image on the screen made him gasp in horror. The future of his life as he knew it hung in a delicate balance. His slightest mistake could send him spiraling down to his ultimate demise!

Thanks, & I'll post when I have more inspiration! Right now, it's hard to believe, I'm currently experiencing writer's block! :grr: But, I promise you, I WILL post another chapter once it goes away & I write Chapter 14! ;)
