[J/C AVA]

OK. Looks like Moonlight Black has a alot of positive reception. Thanks for the people who read it so far and hope that this fic keeps growing.

So without further adue, next chapter:

*Meanwhile, back on Earth, Jimmy, Pedro, Laura, and G'Taters run down the hall in serch for Cindy. They come into a door.*

Pedro: MAN!!! How many doors are we gonna come into?

G'Taters: Don't worry dearies. Let Grandma handle this.

*Taters goes in front of the door. She then pierces her fingers through the door and tears it open like a sheet of paper. All stare with thier mouths to the ground*

Laura: And SHE'S a Grandma?!?

Jimmy: Uh... sort of.

Pedro: Right.

*They all go in stealth-like fashion to avoid being spotted. But Laura then begins to sneeze*

Pedro: *Whisphers loudly* Laura, no!!

*He puts his finger on her nose and she sighs in relief for a moment. But when he let's go, she sneezes*

Pedro/Jimmy: Laura!

*Just then the sound of footsteps is heard coming their way*

Pedro: Oh no!! What do we do?

*Jimmy looks around and finds an air shaft*

Jimmy: Quick!! Everyone in the air shaft!!

*They all struggle to fit but Taters is too big*

G'Taters: Oh dear!!!

Pedro: No! How is she gonna hide?

*Sunddenly Taters remembers*

G'Taters: OH! Not to worry kids.

*She then concentrates and then she transforms her shape into a plant*

Pedro: Whoa.

Laura: Cool!

Jimmy: Amazing. *The footsteps get closer* Uh Oh!! Gotta hide!!

*They all close the shaft just in time as the Girl Moon Monster and the other Moon Monster come rushing in*

Girl Moon Monster: NO!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! HOW COULD YOU POSIBLY LET HER ESCAPE?!?!?

*Jimmy, Pedro and Laura's face omitted shock*

Moon Monster: Hey! Don't yell at me! It was the guard's fault that she escaped!!!

Girl Moon Monster: But YOU'RE his boss!!! It's you JOB to inform him. And it's MY JOB to inform you!! Now the master is gonna have our heads because of your stupidity!!!

Moon Monster: Oh really? Is that why an 11-year old girl kicked your butt and almost left you for dead? Oh I WONDER!!!

Girl Monster: Don't you EVER mention her!!!

Moon Monster: Hey, I'm just telling it like it is, loser!!

Girl Monster: Why I'd outta...

*Suddenly the alarm went off. A person speaks through an intercom: Emergency! Emergency! Escape in Section 4! I repeat, escape in section 4! In need of assistance*

Girl Monster: *Worried* Oh no! The Master is SO going to kill us!!

*The two monsters sprint out of the hall. Jimmy and the rest come out of the shaft while Taters assumes her normal form*

Pedro: Do you believe that?

Laura: Cindy escaped!!

Taters: That's great happy news!!

Jimmy: No, it isn't.

P,L,G'T: What?

*Jimmy bows down and picks up what looks like a pink head band... Cindy's head band*

Jimmy: This is Cindy's.

*And then to Jimmy's horror...*

Jimmy: Someone's kidnapped Cindy!!!

*Everyone gasps*

Pedro: Oh no! Not again!

Laura: How do we find her now?

Jimmy: ARGH!!! *He drops to the floor hitting it with his fists* This is all MY fault!! If I wasn't so ego-headed she might have been safe!! She might have believed me!! No wonder everyone's always in danger and pain: I'm such an egotisical IDIOT!!!!!

Pedro: NO Jimmy!! Now's NOT the time to blame yourself! You did all you could for her!

Laura: Yeah. Besides, she's alive. And that's an important thing.

Jimmy: But now she's gone!! How are we supposed to find her now?!?

G'Taters: I think I know how.

*The kids look at Taters as she removes her glasses. Her eyes then ommit red rays at the floor, reveling Cindy's bare foot prints and what looked like prints from combat boots*

Laura: Cindy's foot prints!

Pedro: And... boots?

*Taters then followed the foot prints and leads to a big hole in the wall. When they enter the hole, they find...*

Jimmy: *Astonished* A Dimension Gate?!?

Jimmy*whispers*: You know, if i weren't so worried about Cindy's well being, I'd comment her weird obsession with the old Lady right now...

Laura*deep breath*: Why is here a dimension gate? And how does it relate to Cindy's kidnapping?

Jimmy: If I just knew that...apparently Cindy *gulps* was taken through it...

Grandma Taters: It could be a trap, my darlings!

Jimmy*stared puzzled at the dimension gate* That all doesn't make any sense!

Laura: I know...I always thought dimension gates would look way cooler and ...I dunno...impressive....

Jimmy: THAT'S NOT WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!

Laura*raises hands in defeat* Sorry...I've just been speaking my mind...

Jimmy: You know, you can get as ridiculous as Sheen!

Laura: :wub: You really think so? Oh my god..I adore Sheen!

Grandma Taters and Pedro shake simultaneously their heads.

Jimmy: I thought you were over the whole fan thingy!

Laura: Partly...sometimes it overwhelms me... :unsure: * chuckles uneasily*

Pedro: What were you going to say, Jimmy?

Jimmy* gets again a worried look* I mean...it's obvious that someone...*looks sadly at the ground* kidnapped her...but it can't be the ruler of this horrible lair and his servants...

Grandma Taters: Why not? These rude persons are capable of doing something that mean!

Jimmy: Because...you heard what the monsters talked about!

Pedro: But who else would kidnap Cindy, if not these weirdos that brainwashed Noemi?!

Jimmy: I don't know...*voice grows weaker* I just don't know...

Laura: But you are, like...Jimmy...the genius! You always have a solution to every problem :unsure: !

Jimmy's head jerks furiously up, anger and hurt glistening in his eyes.

Jimmy*loud voice*: Don't you get it?! I have NO idea what is going on! I do simply not know what to do!!! Cindy is in trouble and I just don't know WHY!!!

He throws frustrated his arms in the air. The other three, back uncomfortable and worried a few steps away.

Jimmy*voice grows weaker again* I just do not know...I...this is so unfamiliar...I feel so helpless and worst of all so useless...

Laura: That is not true Jimmy...I shouldn't have pressured you...

Jimmy: NO!!! It is true! It was all my stupid fault, because I did not know what was coming...but I SHOULD have known!!! I am the genius here, you were right, I am supposed to have all answers...*kicks the ground with his foot* What kind of genius am I, then?

Pedro: Jimmy...as long as you're beating up yourself, we're just losing time and condition, we need to rescue Cindy! I already told you, that it isn't your fault! Get over it, for Cindy's sake!!!

Jimmy: But what shall we do?

Laura: I don't know what you guys are thinking, but I say, let's check out, this damn Dimension Portal! Whatever or whoever lies behind it, better watch out, because I am PISSED OFF by this damn situation, they put us through!

Laura steps close to the Dimension Portal. Jimmy and Pedro look at each other and follow her determined.

Grandma Taters*shakes head* Oh dear...what strong language the youth uses, these days...

She mutters something more under her breath and comes after the others.

Pedro*gulp* Ready, guys?

Jimmy*calmly*: I am.

Laura: Let's just get it over with!

Grandma Taters simply nods.

They all look one last time at each other, then step forward and let themselves swallow by the dimension gate.


Cindy follows April silently through the Rebel's basis, her mind always coming back to her friends. Her heart aches as she thinks of Jimmy turning against her...controlled by this stupid mind control. She had seen what they had done to Noemi...it was still giving her the creeps to think at it.

Gorlockians are to be seen at every corner...Cindy notices the tired, yet grim expression on their faces...suddenly she asks herself, what they have been through. April mentioned their enemy was a great threat to their folk...but what did REALLY happen?

They approach something like a huge tent. April leads Cindy inside and they both take place at a long table standing inside.

April questions Cindy about the situation of her friends. Sadly, the blonde girl tells her everything. Although she didn't get well along with April in the past, she feels the need to trust someone...and she just knows, that someone who values honor as high as April won't betray her.

April listens worried. When Cindy finishes, she opens her mouth to say something as well.

April: Well that changes everything...I'm going to give special orders, in case they show up.

Cindy: Well...do what you want to...just tell me now, what the heck is really going on!!!

April: All right...listen....


Jimmy, Grandma Taters, Pedro and Laura, land astonished in the parallel dimension.

Laura: What...is ...this?

Jimmy: Hmmm...that dimension looks very strange...

Suddenly a big figure appears in front of him. Everyone, save Grandma Taters gasps.

Pedro: A-a...a Gorlock?

Gorlock: That's right, you damn human puppet!

Pedro*outraged*: What?!

Gorlock: You shouldn't have come here!

Jimmy: But..we...see we were just....

Gorlock: I don't want to listen to this! I got special orders to watch out for humans like you...you brainwashed puppets won't trick me!

Jimmy: BRAINWASHED? But we're just trying too....

The Gorlock grabs Jimmy, Laura and Pedro rudely. he glares threateningly at Grandma Taters:

Gorlock: Don't even try something funny...we know your kind of alien and we Gorlocks are imune to your powers! Follow mw, or these humans will be immediately crushed!

He drags the three humans violently away, Granma Taters following them in defeat.

They reach a dark building...and soon find themselves locked away in a dark cell.

Jimmy: But...You can't do this!!!

Gorlock: Miss April gave clear orders, basing on the facts she got from that pale , golden-haired human girl! You are brainwashed enemies!!!

Jimmy, Pedro, Laura: WHAT???

Jimmy: April?! And...do you mean Cindy? And...and..why brainwashed!!!

Gorlock*scoffs*: I'm telling nuthin...mindless puppets!

Jimmy: WE AREN'T BRAINWASHED!!! Let me talk at least with April, if she's really here!!!

Gorlock: Why should I?

Another Gorlock approaches: But April told us to inform her as soon as possible, if we get them!

Gorlock1: I don't think so! We shall let them rotting in here! Why making unnecessary risks for our folk?!

Gorlock2: But...

Gorlock1: We have to concentrate on other things..the risks these worthless creatures are, is not bearable!

Gorlock2: So you're not going to inform her?

Gorlock1: And neither are you! Don't you agree, that she has a soft spot for humans? She would be too trustful...she would let them trick her!

Gorlock2: You're right! Their presence will be a secret between me and you!

The two Gorlocks go slowly away, leaving their prisoners left in the dark.

Laura*shaking voice*: I hate to say this...but we are s c r e w e d!

Pedro and Grandma Taters nod silently.

Jimmy*whisper*: Why would Cindy say such things...why would she betray us to the Gorlocks, who were actually our friends, but now...How can she deceive us, when we are coming to rescue her.

He kicks angrily the ground.

Jimmy : This all makes no sense!!!!

In the other dimension...

Noemi was standing up alone in the main control room. She was wairing a new outfit that it looked like a particular black armor with a golden color belt around her waist, the same that held a golden shining laser sword, a golden sparkling dagger and a hidden golden yet stylish powerful gun.
Unfortunately, she had received orders to keep on guard after more experiments were done to her to guarantee her loyalty.
As she got uneasy and fighting some orders for the last hour, her master increased the level of power in her mind control and implanted a microchip on her left hand. This device was now carefully protected by the new suit she carried on.

She wasn't in the best mood now, her head was aching as heck, her eyes swelling up letting see a deep mavue in her pupils instead of her gleeful usual expression, her body was getting more pale as minutes passed on.
She was so confused, affected by every feeling a human could experience in life. She had too many mood swings in every instant as a way to complain of her insufferable physical pain.

What is wrong with me? she thought. Memories crashed any possible thought in a sole instant and again she turned into an unbearable being punching the walls around her.
Now she was sweating hard, breathing with much difficulty, her heartbeat turned out to be faster as ever that she though her chest was blowing inside It hurts her mind raced.
She wanted to cry, to fight, to demolish anything or bring everything down, but the pain in her chest stopped her and she fell on her knees putting her right hand to the left side of her chest.

Now she was lying on the ground hardly moving and just having a chit chat with herself My chest, I can't breath. What can I do now? I'm alone and everybody is looking for the missing prisoners.. Shortly enough Noemi began listening to some echo voice in her mind and she paralyzed as her head tasted the coldness of the steel floor where she layed partially unconcious.

YOU!!!! YOU!!!!

Noemi!! Noemi!!

Noemi's body was panging and she turned her body in order to see the roof with the last strength relying on her.

Laura? Then it hit her. Laura? Again another higher echo bursted in her head once more...Memories blurred in her head

Flashback....

Laura:Fight against it Noemi!!!!

Noemi: I...can't....

Pedro: Yes you do!

Laura: Noemi you've gotta help us!

It was too much burden taken already.Too much suffering for her to carry on her shoulders. She somehow revived her last meeting with Laura and Pedro and she couldn't help to have glittering looking eyes that announced a tear escaping any minute.

A tear?? she inquired and then unexpectedly had a terrible dark looking face, so lifeless and so gloomy to be seen.
I won't cry.
Finally she tried to get on her feet again with her hand over her still aching chest.

Great now what?
Noemi felt her left arm all numbed and heavy when she remained standing, so she decided to sit down near the corner of the control room and now she used her right hand again to hold hard her burning chest. Her head was still reeling awfully. damn!

flashback***
Noemi:"Here...this is....you have full access to the lair with this....except...echo hall...go...now!"

Laura: what about you?

Noemi: Too weak....have to obey....GO!!!

Laura: But...

Noemi: JUST GO!!!

*Pedro grabs Laura's wrist and drags her into the new opened floor*

Laura:But....

Noemi: **gasped** W-what did I do?

***She left the corner and was standing in no time violently and nervously.***

Noemi: Laura? where are you?
As Noemi watched the control room carelessly she saw Laura standing nearly, smiling at her with her everyday outfit and calling her but her name.

Laura: Noemi!! girl ***opens her arms** come here!!!

Noemi: **gulped** LaUra? is that you? **she began walking in slow motion to grab her friend's hands, but when she almost reached her Laura vanished***

**breathing hard** I'm ...I´m getting out of my mind **holding her chest ,begins sobbing ans whispers** Laura please help me. I don't want this anymore.

As tears tried to come out she saw one of the panels of the control room.. She couldn't believe what she was watching. It was Jimmy, Tatters,Pedro and Laura!! and a strange looking hall in the base ground from the secret fortress her master had built. Then she saw how all of them got into that passage and disappeared before her tired, sore eyes.

Noemi: **startled** What the??
Her discover was interrupted abruptly with a coldness taking complete possesion of her weak arms and her chest hurt dreadfully.
I need help she managed to think.

**stutters** There's only one way to help myself on this.
As she pronounced the last words, Noemi swayed like an autumn leaf falling from a tree and hit the merciless ground. A strong growl was let out from her as she had slammed her chest against the floor and quivered desperately.

Noemi: La-La-LauRA...
Finally she had reached her limit and got unconcious in that dark control room when she was kept as a slave.

I think I did. I commented in the Grandma Taters thread to Laura that Cindy was coming for a remacth and to wacth out. And then I made Cindy bash in my door demanding where Taters was.

And... it snowballed from there.

Then you and I started to talk about the Hypno thingy...and we roleplayed a few sentences about you going to Jimmy's lab....

Well, congrats Laura. Cause soon is NOW!!

*Hours pass by in the dungeon without much planing or talking. Jimmy simply sat, looking confilcted with all sorts of mixed emotions. Pedro, Laura and G'Taters only waited for Jimmy to say or so something. But it was no use: Jimmy was way into his misery and mental isolation to say or do anything. Without Jimmy noticing, Pedro began talking...*

Pedro: Well guys, it's offical: Jimmy's lost it.

L & G'T: Yup.

Pedro: *smiling sarcasticly* And do you know what THAT means?

*L & G'T shake their heads*

Pedro: We're all doomed, gonna die, and maybe never see the light of day again. Isn't that great?

G'Taters: Hey! That didn't sound very happy.

Laura: Nope. Not even close.

Pedro: Well what else am I supposed to do? Jimmy's stuck in misery mode while we're stuck in this dungeon millions of miles from home, those moon monsters are gonna destroy the universe or something, Cindy thinks we've betrayed her and is certanly NOT gonna trust us ever again and Noemi is still brainwashed like Hitler's Youth!! How am I supposed to sound happy when all this badness is going on? Huh?

G'Taters: Look sunny...

Pedro: Pedro!

Laura: Whatever!!

G'Taters: I know that things seem bad and life isn't caring for us or anyone that we love right now, but you gotta keep your smile up and always smile. Otherwise we end up like emotionless zombies who always looks like they'll always have a bad day.

Pedro: *sighs* I guess you're right. Still, it's like trying to keep a float while you're sinking. It's just so... so... impossible.

Laura: Pedro?!? How do you think I'm feeling living my life without Noemi? *Starts sobing* We've always been through everything together.. EVERYTHING!!! We were never apart cause we needed each other and... *Starts crying* and... and... *Bursts in tears* I JUST MISS HER SO MUCH!!! *She suddenly pours herself over Pedro as her tears soak his green T-shirt* Pedro... Please... no matter what... happens to you... NEVER EVER... think that you're the only one who feels pain and hurt!! We ALL DO!!! *She burst out hystericly in a way Pedro had never seen her before. He embraces her with a look of contempt*

G'Taters: Awww.. It's okay deary. Let it all out. It's okay to cry if it's for someone you love.

*She joins in the group hug. Pedro is just taken by the emotion of it all and is speechless. It always annoyed him to think things in the more broader picture. It was always easy for him to think of his own problems and seem like he's the only one who feels pain. But when he takes into consideration that his fellow human beings is in the same boat, he becomes uncomfortable and annoyed. But this time though, he decided to let it pass and embrace the pain that everyone feels. After it all died down they caught Jimmy staring at their emtional episode and seems at a loss for words.*

Luara: Jimmy? Are... you OK?

*Jimmy says nothing*

Luara: Jimmy?

*Still no response*

Laura: JIMMY?!?

Jimmy: WHAT?!?

Luara: *Taken aback by his harsh response* Uh.. I..

Pedro: She ment to say that if we don't come up with a plan to escape soon, they'll find us and feed us to the buzzards.

Jimmy: I KNOW THAT!?!? DON'T YOU THINK I KNOW THAT!!!

Pedro: Hey, I do! But you've been caught up in your own pain that we couldn't talk to you.

Jimmy: I DID SO... Ugh... I dunno. Alot of things are racing in my mind. *He dug his fingers into the dirt hard* If I'm such a genius, then why do I cause so much pain for everybody? I'm nothing but an evil monster who can't control myself.

*The whole dungeon fell slient in the wake of Jimmy's harsh observation*

Jimmy: I mean, why did Cindy think we were mind controled anyway?!? Why am I having these thoughts all of a sudden? I mean... why? That's all that goes in my head: why!

*He grew exhausted from questioning himself and the world.*

Jimmy: I.. I just cause nothing but misery for everyone. What's the point of loving science if it only destroys everyone and everything?

Laura: Jimmy, that's not true. I mean look at the numerious times you've saved the universe and the people that live around us. Without your knoledge we'd all be dead before we got to know each other. It's not all hopeless.

*Jimmy tried to snap back enraged but is too exhausted from the emotons*

Jimmy: *sigh* Pedro?

Pedro: Yeah?

Jimmy: How?

Pedro: How what?

Jimmy: How can you see me and Cindy together like that? Remember the time we were in the woods?

*Pedro suddenly remembered and interrupted Jimmy*

Pedro: Uhh.. First Jimmy, I'm sorry for how I reacted. It was dumb and I should've thinked before...

Jimmy: SORRY?!? Pedro, what you said was.. I dunno.. right!

Pedro: Huh?

Jimmy: But what confuses me is.. just... how? How is it that you see both me and Cindy can change the world as you said?

Pedro: Well, I...

Jimmy: Please tell me!! I want to know!!

*Instantly Pedro knew that Jimmy was yearning to learn something that science and math didn't tell him. He was looking for something that no mathamatical numeral or scientific oqation can ever give him: Understanding and spiritual. This made Pedro feel better inside, like an iceberg melting softly from the warmth of the sun, cause for the first time in his life, Jimmy was seeking an understanding outside from his own view. Jimmy is growing and Pedro knew and felt it.*

Pedro: *Smiles* I'll be happy to tell you ^_^

G'Taters: Oh my!! Now I'm happy again.

Laura: Me too. *She looks from the barred window of their cell into the diamond stars shining in space. She then saw a constelation that shapped into the face of a smiling, care-free Noemi.*

Laura: *Smiles and whisphers to herself* Me too....

Phew!!!!! THAT was long!!! And btw, that part where it says of how annoyed I get when I have to include the human race into pain, that's true. I really think that. It always annoys me whenever I want to feel like I'm the only one with the problems and then people tell me to condider that I'm not the only one who feels pain and consider everyone else.

A blinking light filled the entire control room where Noemi remained unconscious. Only some shadows were able to be seen wth some slight muttering.


Sheen: Good job Goddard. We found her at last. Jimmy and the rest must be nearby.

Carl: ***growing pale** Sh-Sheen..what if we find th-th-those scary lochness monsters???

An unusual stomping was heard all of a sudden and Sheen with Carl shook in desbelieve. Goddard went one step back unsure while he checked Noemi with his medical equipment.

Trough that deep darkness nothing could be seen. At this point Carl was using his inhaler every second and started coughing too. Sheen just stood up in there waiting the worst catastrophe to happen to him and his friend.


Voice: YOU!!!

Sheen n Carl: ***holding each other**** AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!! We didn't come to rescue the fangirls or Jimmy!!!! We were just here trying to...

Libby: You fools!! I told you to not leave me alone in the lab!

Sheen: Ok, here goes nothing! Come on Carl help me out!

Carl: But what if i let her fall?

Libby: I'll help you Sheen. Carl lead the way to the passage.


While Sheen and Libby picked Noemi out next to Goddard Carl lead the way to the hall they used to get in. Even though they were almost out of there safe, the kids were highly disturbed after an unusual deafening echo from a far explosion followed by a intense trembling floor.

Carl: :o w-w-what is happening?!

Goddard:
on screen --DETONATION THREAT NEAR US--

Sheen: **still holding Noemi**why must the good ones die so young???!!! :'(

libby: **frightened** Sheen...we must do everthing to get our friends back and save this girl too.

Sheen: But, but...we're doomed already

Libby: Sheen ask yourself what would Ultralord do?

***floor trembles again***

Sheen: So what we're waiting for?Let's hit the road.

libby: I believe Goddard is taking us through that air shaft. But we can't get in it with her! ***looks to Noemi***

Sheen: Goddard let's find another passage Goddard that takes us to Jimmy.

Goddard: **nods and points to a wall in front of him**
on screen ---THIS WAY---

Carl: Goddard we're not ghosts to get into walls...

Goddard: **pushes the wall and a secret passage it's revealed**
---WE WILL GET TO AN UNDERGROUND FLOOR SOON---

Sheen: oh well let's go then guys.

Libby: Goddard how far are we from there???

Goddard: ----SEVEN FLOORS WITH HIGH SECURITY AND OTHER THREE LEVELS FROM UNDERGROUND----

Sheen: Goddard I can't hold on anymore carrying this girl!!

Goddard:
on screen ***NO NEED. THESE HALLS ARE BIG ENOUGH TO GET THE HOVERCRAFT OUT OF THE HYPERCUBE NOW***

Libby: Boy are you sure?

Goddard takes out the hypercube and let's the hovercraft get into the giant hall. Sheen and Libby put carefully Noemi in the hovercraft and everyone takes a seat.

Sheen: Ok so I'm driving this now

Goddard: **whines***
on screen ---I CAN BUT I MUST TAKE CARE OF NOEMI--

Sheen: So I'm totally in

Goddard:
on screen --IF WE COULD TRACK JIMMY I WOULD SUGGEST AUTOPILOT MODE---

Libby: Sheen! you know we have to end this flight alive!

Sheen: Of course I know it! is it really necessary??

Goddard: **shivers*** ---JUST DRIVE AND DON'T GET TOO CLOSE TO THE WALLS--
