I do have a backup, but no database backups (I might, but I'll have to look) which basically means we're screwed oakaki-wise. Lemme work.





And this, ladies and gents, is why we run a forum on a very reliable server! The webhosting for this forum is very good with backups to ALL accounts, and redundancy, plus: I backup this forum every week.

Ya, canaca was good when we first got the mainsite, but it's been getting less and less reliable lately. I've been considering switching for awhile now, but I wanted to finish out the year since we already paid for it.

To be perfectly honest with you guys, I'm only planning to keep the mainsite one more year (through my Master's degree at college)...after that, IDOJ will probably shut down (not the forums, but the mainsite - I simply can't afford it anymore, and it seems like none of us really use it anyway).

Angry/heartbroken rants welcome.

Pshhh I luv IDOJ too much to let that happen. Once Mara can't support it any more, I'll keep it up there as long as I can (but Mara will still have admin access and maintain updates etc.).

It might be true that we do not use it much -- but, I'm sure there is TONS of little 10 year old kids looking for downloading Jimmy Neutron episodes out there -- which would explain the terabytes of bandwidth used per month.

I would, but I'm afraid the upload is in an archive which means I cannot decide what gets uploaded first. But, who knows! It might get uploaded quickly. It's going at 1MB/s right now.

Not true. There's been times when I would do some looking around the IDOJ mainsite. Since I don't look around there that often, I find it super cool that I can look/read the characters sections, show section, Episode section, etc.

OK, I think I've got *most* of the stuff updated. I still need to work on mvs, and I got Stacy slaving away on the character profiles side of things...so hopefully we'll see some progress soon
