Arg... You're MySQL database hosted by your hosting company isn't the most reliable thing in the world... Nothing I can do ATM, but you can message them telling them to get MYSQL working on idreamofjimmy.com.

The only way I can figure out to thoroughly fix this is use a remote MySQL database. I'll work on it once they get it back up.

I have contacted IDOJ's host, and they have gotten MySQL back, so the Oekaki shall work now. :)

Tip-of-the-day: You can use the oekaki as an image hoster for JN-related images. :)

All you have to do is upload it public, then click the image thumbnail and you're at the image file location! Just copy the link and use IMG tags to show, like this:

It benefits us all. The Oekaki is used more, AND you get free, unlimited, fast hosting for all JN pertaining material!

YET ANOTHER BONUS: You can modify the image on the oekaki, and the link with the image will change as well!

It's a pain in the butt trying to draw with the ball mouse we use on the laptop that I'm usually on. The ball sticks and messes things up. I remember wanting to throw the laptop out the window when I was drawing Wall-E on the old Oekaki chatroom thing. I had to click with the ball mouse but use the little mouse mover thing situated between the g, h, and b keys.

It was murder :onfire:

If I was on the good comp down in the dining room it would have gone much faster and easier, and better too, probably, because that has a laser mouse.

But after this April I have decided I will save up money to buy a tablet. I was finally able to get an explanation of what the heck a tablet was from Kaz, and I found this pretty awesome one at walmart.com for a reasonable price. It comes with software and has a big drawing space and all that jazz.

Gigantic sigs have been taking up too much space on IDOJ...so I downscaled the character limit to 500. I want to encourage you all to keep your signatures brief. No more than 3 images (and that doesn't mean 3 GIANT banners), and only those parts of quotes that actually matter for the joke to make sense. No more cutting and pasting essays into your sigs :lol:
