* Pairing(s): Very very slight SL.

* Synopsis: Basically, Sheen is suicidal and the story is about Jimmy and Carl finding out what he plans to do and getting help while one finds Sheen. I'm not sure what point in the series it takes place, because it's never really clear how old everyone is. I believe it's after the series, but not much, probably not much more than a year or two after the show takes place.

* Comments: It's really angsty. Like, really really. Also, the chapters are on the short side, but they still make the story work very well.

@ Pedro: I see no reason why a person couldn't recommend their own fic...however, in your case Pedro, I don't know if yours is far enough along for tvtropes.org. Plus, it's not yet on ff.net, am I right?

No it's not. In fact I was thinking of posting it on ff.net. But if I do post mines on tvtropes.org, couldn't I just put it under "work in progress"? Other wise it wouldn't accept mines, right?

About the fanficrecs...
the convention on tvtropes (at least for other shows, like KP, Avatar, and the like) is to only recommend fanfics that are at least halfway done. Also, the fanfics are NOT hosted by tvtropes, so they need to be either on the IDOJ mainsite or on ff.net.

More importantly, the fanfics CANNOT be OOC (out of character). While a certain amount of melodrama and angst are allowed, the fanfics you recommend should be pretty faithful to the show and the characters. Some extrapolation is fine, but don't go recommending fics like the infamous Pain (Lord help us).

* Synopsis: In a serious case of mis-identity, Carl is whisked into space to battle an intergalactic warrior. Jimmy and the gang blast off to save him, but there's seems to be more going on than just a fight...

* Comments: Complete. It is one of the longest Carl-centered fanfic I have ever seen, and written well to boot! It is very Sci-Fi action-y and a classic gang adventure. The chapters are pretty long, and it's a great way to kill a couple hours.

If the admin deletes an account, couldn't a person just sign up and use their previous account name, since the account name was never used (the site thinks it's a new account, since it's like the old account never existed)?

Honestly, though, there's only so much I can do. I don't have the time or the energy to patrol IDOJ 24/7 and make sure people aren't being a-holes. **shrugs** I do my best, though.

* Synopsis: Sasha Vortex looks back on her life and the love she never had. She thinks about her daughter Cindy and how alike they've become and whatnot.

* Comments: I really like this one. It's about Cindy's mom, which is rare, and it's well-written. It's a one-shot and doesn't exactly put her in a "positive" light, but certainly doesn't put her in a negative light either. It just kinda explains how she got to be her aloof perfectionist self, which is the impression the show gives. I'm not sure at what point in the series it takes place, but it seems to be somewhere near the third season.
