-I don't know Avatar well, but since when did that kid with the Arrow on His Head have hair?
Here, I made a nice TO DO LIST for Mara, so she can stay organized.
1. Work on Character Profiles.
--> For example, Darklord's profile for King Goobot is from MAY of 2007.
2. Add Pigquet's Obscure Character to Character Profile Section
--> Pigquet worked hard on those pictures!
--> And it would make a nice Feel Better Soon Piggles Present for her.
3. Add at least the JN Gang Smilies to the Smiley Section.
--> I think a lot of people would love to see those! (Well, Flank and I would. ...)
4. Add some more Fanfics to the Fanfic Section.
--> Sunny said she's got two sent off to you. And I bet you have a few more than that sitting there.
5. Finish TOSOT.
Just saying! Aren't I helpful? :P
If you want I can color code them and put them in order by priority.

But Mara has been working on TOSOT for YEARS now, and she's so close to being done! I'd like to see her pridefully complete her masterpiece. She's close, but she's been writing in a different sequence of events.

Do not underestimate the sheer time consumption factor on these sorts of things.

Well yeah, but I'd like to see it finished. She doesn't have much time left during the summer, and once college starts up it'll be REALLY hard to get it done.
But like you said, she has the capacity to upload stuff on IDOJ at any time (the stuff you guys have already finished). She won't have time to do TOSOT later on.
