Did you read the whole thing? The assignment was to make two people who didn't want to fall in love do just that, so I guess a little J/C parallel was inevitable. However, the main male character, Jonah, was nothing at all like Jimmy. He was kinda dumb, to be honest LOL. The girl wasn't street smart or verbally abusive like Cindy. I guess any love/hate relationship can be seen as being similar to J/C, but this story was NOT meant to be a spinoff of the show or related to it in any way. It's just a coincidence.Mara, I was poking around on deviantart and I found some pictures by you so I decided to look at them all. Well the last one was like a story thing and when I was like a paragraph through I was like JxC much? And then at the bottom it said that you had to do it for an English project or something and I was like Wow, Mara's obsessed. xD

-Hey dudes, it's time once again for an update. Thanks to NekoGirl and Krista's help, a bunch of new episodes have been uploaded. Win Lose and Kaboom is now available in .rar format and two Spanish episodes, See Jimmy Run and My Son the Hampster, are also up. Who's Your Mommy, Send in the Clones, Make Room for Daddy-O, Jimmy Goes to College, and See Jimmy run bring the standard episode count up to 38. So check out the episode download page to get the latest eppies.
-Sunshinedaydream's fic, "Maid of Honor" is now available on the fanfic mainpage. I HIGHLY recommend it, especially if you are a S/L fan. I really loved it myself.
-Hey, does anyone here know Tropicalee from nick.com? Do you know how I can get in touch with her? I really want to put her fic "Shall We Dance?" on IDOJ, but I'd like to get her permission first (even thought I'm sure she wouldn't object).
-Hey guys, check out the new RP in the Other Shows section. "The Arena," as it's called, is a fighting RP where you can pretend to be your fave Avatar:TLA characters and take place in a competition to see who's the best bender. We need a lot more people to join before we can start, so hurry on over and sign up!
-Also, if you haven't already signed up for Gigi's JN fanclub newsletter, you should! This month's edition was great, with an interview with Keith Alcorn and everything! Contact JCForever for more info or email jimmyneutronfanclub@yahoo.com to sign up.
-OK, that's it. Thanks for reading!

-I've been a bit of a slacker with updates lately, I admit. But I haven't been a slacker in other arenas. So, who wants to hear about all the crazy projects I'm involved in? Well, you're going to whether you want to or not ^_^
Firstly, I recently became part of the JN newsletter I was telling you guys about in the last update. I am drawing cover art as well as writing some articles and helping with production.
I've also been hard at work on IDOJ. Thanks to Darklord, we now have a profile for Goddard, and as soon as the site admin interface starts working again (I've been having some issues with it) I'll upload it and update the other character bios. I'm also working on editing msrandom's amazing super fantabulous dangerously addicting 81-chapters-and-counting fanfic, The Tomb of Doom. Ya, it's awesome. I've been gathering fanart at DA and recently added several new pieces, including an AMAZING one of Britney. :kawaii:
In my real life, I'm involved in this crazy huge project at school called "March Madness, the Ruler of the World Competition". *.* It's a tradition at my school and it's a pretty big deal come March. Here's how it works: All the kids in the Advanced Placement history classes participate. You are given a character to play...and that character just happens to be a famous (or not so famous) ruler from somewhere in history. You have to research your character, assume their identity, and engage in these really lively debates with the other rulers in an attempt to prove that YOUR character, and by extension YOU, is the most qualified to rule the world. Kids go all out with costumes, accents, etc. and really dig deep to find dirt on the other candidates. You have to make yourself look awesome while at the same time finding out information about your opponent that will hurt their chances of winning.
It's a tough competition and goes on into April, but the rewards are sweet. The two finalists debate in front of the entire history department and any students who feel like showing up, who then vote and determine the Ruler of the World. The victor gets their name on the history dep't trophy and a gazillion extra credit points. ;) My ruler is Akbar the Great of Mughal India, and chances are you've never heard of him. But I am SOOO going to win. I must defeat Napoleon...he's won two years in a row, and he needs to GO DOWN! Woop woop!
Dear Lord, you should see my costume. It's like this demented Arabic/Hindi swami outfit with a turban. :ph43r: And I have to paint a moustache on myself and everything...and use my crazy Indian accent that I perfected back when I was on the Varsity Improv team. So wish me luck, because I'm going to be getting up in front of a sea of my peers (including the guy I have a crush on, who's in my AP world class) and act like a total whack-job. Sometimes I amaze even myself.
-Um, well, that was quite the rant. Now you understand why I'm so swamped! In other news, I'm working on a new JN music video, "Cinderella", and I'm also working on a pic for Krista's contest. Hopefully I'll finish them sometime THIS YEAR. Oh, and my trip to Paris is fast approaching...holy monkey! So much to do and no time to do it! I swear, when summer hits, I'm retreating into a full-on vegetative state  Then college starts... :o :protest:
Until then,

And you're going to Paris????? That's AWESOME!!! I am tres jealous. But I can't complain, I'm going to Arizona tomorrow for a nice WARM vacation. It's too cold here, I'm sick of it. I'm going to be there 'till Saterday, so I won't be on for a week!! :'( I'm very sad... But it'll be nice. :D
Anywhoo, thanks for the update Mara! And I will talk to you all in a week!! Byes. ^_^

-1st thing's 1st: Goddard's bio is now up and running thanks to the efforts of Darklord and myself. You can check out the profile here and report any egregious errors you may find within (which is unlikely). Follow Darklord's example and submit a (high quality :bock: ) bio of your own. Oh, and NekoGirl, I'm still waiting on that bio for Betty since my computer ate the original copy when it crashed. Arigato! :kawaii:
-.:!Gwen!:. recently announced that she is leaving IDOJ, and we will all miss her very much. We hope that she will come back to visit from time to time, but if she doesn't we understand. Life can get really, really busy.
-Episode uploading has halted due to the fact that the two people who have been helping me, NekoGirl and Krista, have been out of contact (which is most likely my fault, but hey :) ). I could teach other people how to upload but that means more time on my part, so I'd rather have those 2 finish uploading anything they have that we currently don't. Once they're done, we'll address the problem of how to get the remainder of the episodes onto the site (including the possibility of Spanish episodes). B)
-Well, that's it for now. I'm trying to come up with a new contest for ya'll, but all the tests I've been taking recently have drained my creativity. Sigh...high school stinks...

By the way, random question time!: Mara, when's the next installment of The Other Side of Tomorrow coming out? I'm getting too excited for my own good. ;-; Snap out of of it, Krista! *Slaps self and then stares blankly at hand* WOW I need some therapy. Chitty-chitty-bang-bangeh!

That is a very, very good question LOL.

Hmm, let's think. I've written 110 pages so far, which is 10 pages short of the amount I need to post Volume 4 (since Vol. 4 is made up of pages 90-120). Since pages 110-120 kind of don't exist yet, I've had to delay the release. But the good news is, I might release the 20 pages I've written since Volume 3 early. Dunno yet; I guess it depends on how long it takes me to finish up the 120 page requirements. It can take me anywhere from 3 days to 4 weeks to write 10 pages, since I never know how much time I'm going to have to write or how creative I'll feel. But it shouldn't take too much longer.
Um, I've just had a thought. I write lots of original fiction including poetry and prose not related to JN that I could post on the forums in the meantime if you want me to. I'd like to get some constructive criticism. Who knows, maybe you'll like some of it? At least it'll give you something to do while you're waiting LOL. Anyway, let me know. ^_^
Thanks for being so patient everyone! :bff:
