UPDATE :onfire: [11/19/07]
- OK, so...at the risk of the updates forum descending into complete anarchy, I think it's about time for an update.
- I am going back to VT tomorrow, and won't be returning to college until Sunday night. It'll be family time x 2, so I will probably be computer free for most of the week (except for my stupid PHP programming project - pardon the alliteration - which I REALLY need aeharding's help on so I can actually learn PHP well enough to use it on IDOJ).
- The IDOJ deviantart account is looking good so far, incase anyone wanted to know: Chiggity check it out. At this exact moment we have 60 deviations and 462 pageviews, which isn't GREAT, but isn't bad either. We're currently looking for clubs to affiliate with (mostly clubs for other cartoons or Nick shows, since there are no other Jimmy Neutron clubs on dA). Anyone willing to dig thru dA and find clubs is welcome to do so. I also want HUGH to upload more of his art REGARDLESS of whether or not he thinks it's crap. At least add your pic of Jimmy and Goddard (flycycle mode) and your pic of Hugh and Judy, "but I'm YOUR idiot, right?". Hugh chasing the duck also amuses me, as does "I conquered teh intranetz!" (or however you spelled it :lol: )
And Krista, add your pic of Libby. Ya.
- Um...I kind of have to go now, because my dorm room is a DISASTER and I need to clean. I had a test today - which I bombed, incidentally - so I spent all weekend studying and my room now looks like a bomb hit. Then I have to pack all my clothes and stuff...ayup. OK, thanks for reading everyone! Have a great Thanksgiving vacation!

Here's a little idea I thought of.
But I don't know if its possible, or doable, or if Mara would even want to do it.
I think some Topics, like this one, Updates, are permanent. (Though I may be mistaken.)
I would like to see a few select other Topics made permant so they don't fade with time.
-Why? Because some of them are excellent Topics, and I think new people to IDOJ would love to read them.
"Oh, now I get it. Obscure references in Jimmy Neutron" is a pretty cool Topic. But there may be no more references to find now, so that Topic could disappear in time.
-Still, a lot of work went into it, and its got tons of great info in it.
"Name That Episode" is fun, though I confess, that one doesn't look like its disappearing any time soon.
If I may toot my own horn (Toot!) "Sing a Song, the songs of Jimmy Neutron" has almost all the songs ever sung in the show in it, and that could be a good reference too.
I really liked Mara's rant about fanfics, which she linked to in another Topic now. It was Cindy and Libby talking to fanfic writer's and it was excellent.
-But I think its gone.
-(Or I can't find it in any case. I thought it was in Fanfics.)
-Maybe it is too late to recover it, and we'll have to settle for the link Mara provided, but it would be cool to have it still here I think.
And there's probably a few other Topics that are worthwhile.

but newer people don't usually check past the first page of topics, some of which are really good and could be revived a fresh perspective. That "Oo, Now I Get It" Topic I mentioned. See, I'm thinking there won't be much more to post in there, because almost every obscure reference has been mentioned already. (Though a few more may pop up.)
-So I think the Topic may be pushed back and then disappear.
-And it would be a bummer, to me leastways, to see that Topic eventually disappear. Like I said, its got a lot of cool pictures in it and a lot of nifty info in it.
That's my idea! Make it permanent if you can, so Newbies can always go and look at it.
