Um, I don't really ship them...as a pairing on its own, if that makes sense. The only way I can kinda ship it is...well, since, like you know, i kinda have a weird thing for S/C, then Jimmy and Libby seem like the obvious match after that. That's how I make up for Jimmy and Libby's otherwise...loneliness? Haha.

I ship it like... 0.002% LOL. OK, maybe a bit more. I don't know, ahhh!

Yeah, but I still don't really ship it. I mean, I could get used to the idea ONLY if S/C happened for some weird reason. Like, I found myself not minding it in Slink's fic with the S/C and J/L confusion, haha. I didn't mind it, because it was a fic, after all...

But I really don't ship it at all as far as the show goes. I haven't changed THAT much, honestly!

Does that make more sense to ya?

Beside, is JL such a BAD thing? I think it's adorable.

By the way, since when is JL "not going to happen" (talking about whe Pig quoted Rach)? There was kind of a big hint that Libby liked Jimmy in BPM. He tells Libby he needs her, and Libby, flirting back responds, "Why, Jimmy! This is so sudden!" *Hairflip*

How can you not play anything off of that? ;]

Well, I don't mind J/L, because after Betty, Libby was the one to pick on Jimmy the very least. Yes she teamed up with Cindy in season 1, but Libby did stop teasing him far earlier than Cindy managed.

This, & this alone.. is why I don't mind J/L as much as I could. I might've even shipped it if I hadn't found Betty first, & enjoyed S/L so much. ^_^

Oh, jeez. Pigquet gets upset because I mention that I can tolerate the pairing more than I used to, and now you rant about the fact that I insist J/L won't happen. Nothing I do satisfies anyone! :rolleyes: LOL.

Um, bad thing? It is when it kills my two bigger ships. I just don't think I can ever like it as much as S/L even.

But I have to insist that J/L never, ever could happen. I believe it was the furthest thing from the writer's minds, and with S/L, I consider it impossible. I can't see Sheen without Libby, and vice versa. We may be able to argue J/C, since it certainly isn't as established as S/L in the show, but I can't argue S/L. No way, Jose.

I know everyone references the BPM moment as proof for J/L, but it is the only moment, after all. I honestly don't see anything in it. Jimmy meant he needed her to save them all. In my opinion, it's more for laughs. And Sheen's goofy "desert love curse" line. *shrugs* Sooo...that's why I've never expected to see them as a pair, or ever really shipped it.

The pairing can be kinda cute in fics, I must admit. But I wouldn't want to see it in the show.

I ship JC and SL, which isn't much of a surprise because I can't stand non-canon pairings for the most part. I like going along with the story that the writer(s) give me to ride. B)

Plus, I am a SUCKER for love/hate relationships, and JC is probably one of the best examples of that.


Soooo...yep. The writers definitely had Jimmy and Cindy in mind as the major "relationship/conflict" plotline, and Sheen and Libby as sort of adorable side plot. I don't think they would have written the show the way they did if they intended Jimmy to end up with Betty or Libby (sorry, I can't really consider April because she's just in it once, after all).

Part of the reason I love JN is BECAUSE of the great canon pairings. I don't like stories with boring couples...just not as entertaining. Jimmy and Betty...too simple. Jimmy and Libby...too flat. I tend to look for the conflict and the sparks, I guess. Hence why I "shipped" Ron and Hermione since I read Book 1 nearly nine years ago. :D The crazy emotionally confusing ride is where it is at!


So I guess I'll take this moment to say that any fanfics I write will be very canon-oriented, in pairings and otherwise. I love the show for what it is. :D

Final note: I also am not someone who will dislike you for shipping something other than what I do. I reserve the right to think you're silly if you are a serious Bolbi/Judy shipper, but otherwise have at it.

Yay for canon shippers!

Yeah, it is really rare for me to ship a couple that was not in the writer's intentions. Really REALLY rare.

Haha, SC? You'll like a brief moment in my next fanfic then...

But yeah, SC - what a combo. Sheen: the ultimate in obnoxious, annoying, aggravating people. Cindy: the ultimate in impatient, easily ticked-off people. Wooow that would be interesting. :lol: Definitely would have the "spice" to it, though!

But yeah, canon all the way. *high fives*

Like you said though, I also can see why people ship other things. Other pairings can make sense, but I often don't prefer them because I don't find them entertaining enough, or they just don't ring as true to me in terms of the story I know and love.



Phew! It is nice to know I'm not alone. Sometimes I feel like the only person on the internet that actually agrees with and likes the pairings the writers (for any number of movies, books, stories) set up for us to enjoy.

when I first saw the show, I used to think that Britney well be Cindy and Libby 3rd friend and then we well have Jimmy, Sheen, and Carl (boys gang) on one hand and Cindy, Libby and Britney (girls gang) on the other that didn’t happen of course but still I like the sound of it and I also read a fanfic with C/B and well I ship those two

and for Jimmy/ Libby well I also ship them and call me Mr. crazy but I used to think that Libby actually likes Jimmy but she hide her feelings because she want to see him happy with the girl he truly loves witch in the same time her best friend (I mean Cindy) more like she sacrificed her happiness in being with the one she love, for the happiness of her love and her best friend … that sound really soooo stupid right :unsure:

Hey, I understand the whole "love/hate is popular!" thing, but I'm just not on the bandwagon train, if at all. Only example I can give, is the first avatar of my signature, Mr. Blik & Katilda of Catscratch.

I love them to bits, (yeah, don't bother looking on ff.net for them, I've read everything there already! :D ) but its more Blik than anything. Maybe cause Katilda (& the pairing!) is only in two episodes total? Ah well, still freakin' adorable.

I think my main 'issue' with J/C, is that Jimmy is normally a nice person. Sure, his ego will compete with that sometimes, but in general he's easy to like. But from my POV, it seems Cindy is the one who instigated the love/hate bit. Sure, Jimmy kept it up, but he didn't seem to start it, save for said ego.

I'll admit it, I like Jimmy more than I do Cindy, a lot more. In fact, I'll say I don't even like Cindy that much to start with, but I also don't hate her either. Maybe that's why I never truely became a canon shipper? Guess so. :P

I love all the other canon ships, but especially S/L. If not for Jimmy as my fave character, It WOULD be my favorite. ^_^

I am really boring...
but somehow JC and SL are the only pairings I can be happy with! Sometimes I try to imagine these multiships...but I feel sad afterwards.
I love the mainpairings too much...i could never split them up.
And the whole love-hate relationship is just my taste! I love every show which includes such a relationship...and I love it when it appears in books.
Well, for me JC and SL rock! :rock:
Oh and I like Carl with Elke just as well (wow...pretty boring, eh?)
I like it when the right guy and the right girl end up together. :D

I made the experience for myself, I don't like it when things go to smooth...and since I discovered JC I focused on other love-hate things much more...and found out that I love that! So really quite the opposite, huh?
Well and if you, NekoGirl don't like cindy...well I guess than you can't like the pairing, that's natural :lol:
And so I don't like JB because i don't like Betty...it's how it is...
Oh and I like the pairing in Catscratch as well, but it was only in a few episodes, right? :'(
