Your going to love it Mara and so will everybody else. And it was me that gave Beks the idea to make a JN story about it based on the Superman comic I'm Curious Black. And I like to thank Beks for doing We're Curious Black And White for me. Thank you so much Beks. Your really are a true friend.

Hey Beks!

OK, I finally sat down and read the whole story. I have to give you serious props for tackling this subject in a fanfic. You did a really nice job of showing the disparities between the two socioeconomic/racial neighborhoods. I get the feeling that a lot of people would consider this fanfic to be politically incorrect - but hey, stereotypes exist for a reason. The controversy contained in the fic just gives it an added dimension, in my opinion.

I appreciated the metaphor with the apple and the orange, and the fact that Cindy and Libby still FELT like themselves on the inside, despite how other people's perceptions of them changed. Oh, and I also REALLY liked the concept of Jimmy's appearance transformer being used in the witness protection program. Nice tie-in to real life! ^_^

The blood transfusion took the idea of becoming someone else to a nice literal end, and it hearkens back to the days when racist donors/recipients would try to make sure that they were only giving/getting blood from their own race. I appreciated that historical reference. ^_^ The beginning chapters are fabulous - the J/C at the end felt a little forced, but hey, I'm not knockin' it :P

Nice job all around, this was a very enjoyable fic!

Ok, after what seems like forever, I have finally finished the next and the last chapter of this fanfic....and it only took me a few months to get my butt in gear. So enjoy! Or else! (jk )




Meanwhile, Libby cautiously pushed open the door to Sheen’s room, where he laid peacefully in-between the pure white sheets.

“Oh, Sheen,” she murmured, coming up to the bed. “You look so calm when you’re sleeping.” She gingerly put her hand on his as tiny tears started to collect at the corners of her eyes. “Why did you do something that stupid? Why did you feel the need to risk your life to prove your love?” A soft laugh came to her lips. “You’ve pretty much established that.” She gently bit her lip as a single tear ran down her cheek. “Don’t do anything like that again, ok?”

I almost cried here. ;(
