Hi Justine and Company!

Thanks for telling me about Gene Kelly. That's nifty! But alas that he died.

I went to the Internet Movie Database and found some factoids.

Justine being such a fan, maybe she knows them all already, but I thought I'd post some here all the same.

The poster parodies at the end are all of movies either from Warner Brothers Studios, its subsidiary New Line Cinema, or owned by Turner Entertainment.

The Mammoth Pictures logo, a parody of MGM's logo, sports the Latin motto "Optimum Est Maximum" - "Bigger is Better".

In the closing credits somewhere, it says "No animals were harmed in making this film. Although, a few had to be erased and redrawn."

They claim a goof: As Danny arrives in Hollywood at the beginning of the film, the Hollywood sign can be seen. The film is set in 1939 so the sign should still read Hollywoodland as it did until 1949.
-Picky picky!
-If I recall, Hollywoodland was a housing development, then they took down the "land" part and left the sign.
-I may be mistaken, but in the movie "1941" fighter planes straff the Hollywoodland sign and the "land" section falls over.
-(P.S. - I saw the sign when I was in California! And the Chinese Theater!)

That's it!

Ya, I also love that ending song "Nothing's gonna stop us now". I used to sing that randomly and people would look at me weird.

This movie is a classic, I mean honestly! I remember watching it as a child and it was my favorite movie next to the secret of nimph (sp) movies. I ship Danny and Sawyer, they're so cute.
