Bittersweet endings are the best. For serious.

They're just completely uncliched. I mean, when you come away with a feeling of OH MY GOD THIS SUCKS. NOOO. UGHHHHHH! you start thinking about it more, and generally give better reviews.

I had to vote for putting them together. But I'm not complaining about your plans to throw in a little bittersweetness (is that a word? :blink: ) to the ending. Bittersweet is amazing. But happy endings make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. :P A mix would be oh-so-cool. B)
