okay this is bothering me
I was watching Youtube and there are more Zutara vids than there are Kataang..
... Like what makes people think that Katara will fall for Zuko after the way she acts around him cause I'm confussed  :wacko:

((plus she made it clear that if he tried anything that would hurt Aang that she wouldn't hold back on attacking him))

No, but seriously, Zutara is yet to appear in the show in any way, shape, or form (excluding possible foreshadowing and symbolism [2 things I positively luuuv in any romance that takes place in a predominately plot & adventure driven story--excuse the redundancy :bunny:--... but I digress....] , which could all just be a "trick of the light," depending on how this story actually ends :blink: ).
And I don't ship it because I think it's gunna become canon. Meh, never have! :ahoy: I think it's definitely plausible, but it's not the be all end all for me in the series, and people who base their entire viewing of the show off of shipping are just plain sad.

But, back before I discovered that there was an entire A:tlA fandom, I went on youtube looking for the Chibi shorts, saw all the videos you're talking about, and was like "lol are they slipping crack into the muffins, or something? :huh: " crazy, crazy zutarians :B

No matter what you do, Ashley, DO NOT LISTEN TO STOOPID!SHIPPERS!!!!! (no matter what "side" they're on or if they are bashing/trying--and phailing--to defend your ship) I did when I first went on to forums like tv.com and it made the show a hellava lot less fun for me (Mai is aw3som3, btw :music: ! Maiko is still horribly written, and therefore EPIK PHAIL , but MAI is aw3som3) All ships are FULL OF THEM; THEY'RE FREAKIN' EVERY WHERE, MAN!!!

For people who aren't as submersed in the A:TLA fandom, the episode titles of the yet-to-be-aired Chapters 14 and 15 are: "The Boiling Rock" (it's a 2 part-er).

There has been much speculation on what these episodes will be centered on, and (from a description of a new game on nick.com entilted "Boiling Rock") it seems that...


"Now allied with the Avatar, Prince Zuko has infiltrated the fearsome Boiling Rock Prison on a dangerous rescue mission..."

SUUUUUUUUUKIIIIIIIIIII!!!!! (i hope... :unsure: )

and

THE TRUE STORY WITH MAAAAAAIKOOOOOOOO!!!! (probably... :unsure: )

I'm kinda suprised that Nick released something so telling so soon. Hopefully this means the episodes will start airing in the US soon. ;)

I actually don't really like Sokka/Suki. I didn't like Sokka/Yue either. I really only like Tokka. It's like my most irrational pairing :lol:

I prefer Tokka. Why?

Because I noticed Sokka seems to fall for someone within a day or so. (Examples: Suki and Yue). However, with Toph, you see the love doesn't pop up quickly. It's a growing relationship. Plus, I think Toph likes him for who he is, instead of just because he's "handsome."

I do like Suokka. It's just that I like Tokka more. *huggle*

Eh, I'm more of a Taang person. I multi-ship Kataang and Taang :lol:

Personally, I prefered Sokka/Yue, but since she's kinda' dead now, I ship Sokka/Suki.

Zuko/ANYONE is not good. I kinda' liked Zuko/Mai, but all other Zuko ships are just plain annoying. ESPEACIALLY Zukaang.

I think Zutara is more of an "Imagination" ship. You have to IMAGINE it in your head. Some respectable Zutara shippers live by this, and just think it's a sweet idea to play with in their heads. But most Zutarians are just morons.

I don't dislike Kataang, I think it has cute moments (ep 202), but ever since I first started watching ATLA, its never quite fitted for me. Not to mention that, in my humble opinion, if it becomes canon it has been one of the worst executed romantic relationships I've ever seen. My literal thoughts after watching the season 2 finale (still had not discovered fandom OR Zutara) were: "Wow, this is a really good show! Too bad the romance between Aang and Katara sucks :blink: ..." Absolutely nothing against the characters involved!! I love Katara and Aang to bitseys. :wub:

BTW, please don't ask me exactly what reasons make me think the execution was so bad. As of now, they are all simply matters of personal taste that aren't worth naming because they can't be argued since they're, er, my tastes. meh. :bunny:


As far as Tokka goes, I love it! I'm also a big Taang and George shipper as well, but Tokka is definitely fo teh aw3som3! :thumbsup:
