Hey, does anyone know where I can download avatar episodes now that avatar-portal shut down? I can't use bittorrent, so mIRC or downloadable .avi or .wmv files would be best.

Hmm... well, I use Veoh, so.... well, that's all I can recommend.
Sadly, it only has most of season 3... oh yeah, and iTunes has it too.

Oh, and has any one noticed there are absolutely NO BLONDS or RED HEADS in this entire show? Like, Not even as an extra. Yue had white hair, and the oldies have grey hair, but every one else's hair is brown!! Or black... but black is just a really dark brown so...

But still, I did like it. Total Zuzu-ness. He is no longer an angst muffin, but an official REFORMED VILLAN!!! YAY!!

He is now a GOOD-GUY CUPCAKE!!

Ya, I noticed about the selective hair color too. It's actually really weird.

Wow, The Firebending Masters was AWESOME! "Zuko, get over here! I want you to dance with me!" I seriously burst out laughing when Aang said that. I knew those two would make great friends, I love their dialogue together. They're complete opposites, yet they're working for the same goal. It rocks.

Why is everyone so hard on Katara? Toph makes snide comments at least 7 times an episode, and Katara makes a couple because she doesn't trust the guy, and all the sudden everyone's like "oh, she's being a total B****!" I like Katara's duality...I feel like she really embodies the nature of water. Mothering, full of nurturing care and love, yet also deadly, relentless and unforgiving.

I think both the water tribe kids are entitled to a little picking. Let's all haze Zuko! Come on, it'll be fun!

Because she WAS being a [WHOOOOA NELLY!!! :blink: ] (as was Sokka)! :lol: It makes perfect sense, but she was just the same. :catfight: I think the main difference between her making comments and Toph making commets is that Toph is always very blunt and teasing, and Katara's not; she's usually very caring and aware of other people's feelings. Plus, when Toph makes snide remarks its pretty obvious she's just kidding around, where as, right now, Katara is kinda, er, not :unsure: .... And Zuko gets irritated soooo easily! :P

Yeah, I think that since we're so used to seeing Katara as the sweet, caring girl we've known her to be before, it's harder to accept her new attitude with Zuko around. :/ I know I was shocked and upset with Katara for a while.

No, but seriously, Zutara is yet to appear in the show in any way, shape, or form (excluding possible foreshadowing and symbolism [2 things I positively luuuv in any romance that takes place in a predominately plot & adventure driven story--excuse the redundancy :bunny:--... but I digress....] , which could all just be a "trick of the light," depending on how this story actually ends :blink: ).
And I don't ship it because I think it's gunna become canon. Meh, never have! :ahoy: I think it's definitely plausible, but it's not the be all end all for me in the series, and people who base their entire viewing of the show off of shipping are just plain sad.

But, back before I discovered that there was an entire A:tlA fandom, I went on youtube looking for the Chibi shorts, saw all the videos you're talking about, and was like "lol are they slipping crack into the muffins, or something? :huh: " crazy, crazy zutarians :B

Juuuuuuuuuuust keep in mind...:

No matter what you do, Ashley, DO NOT LISTEN TO STOOPID!SHIPPERS!!!!! (no matter what "side" they're on or if they are bashing/trying--and phailing--to defend your ship) I did when I first went on to forums like tv.com and it made the show a hellava lot less fun for me (Mai is aw3som3, btw :music: ! Maiko is still horribly written, and therefore EPIK PHAIL , but MAI is aw3som3) All ships are FULL OF THEM; THEY'RE FREAKIN' EVERY WHERE, MAN!!!
