Okay... my creativity is in drawing and coloring horrible monsters and fantasy creatures, like dragons, and giving them a modern twist to their look.

Dude, Krista, this pic rocks! I LOVE the color choices and the shading, esp. on April's skin. Y'know, if you ever got the hang of a program like photoshop, you could be a really good digital colorererer(er).
I so know what you mean! When I'm drawing these pictures my Mom or my brother always comes up to me and peers over my shoulder. It's so annoying! Then they make all sorts of comments about how I'm drawing some girl's butt or boobs. I'm like...lay off! It's art! So what, I'm coloring an alien's backside. Let's see you do it! LOL

Do you have an account on photobucket? If you do, then upload the pic there. Underneath the uploaded pic will be a URL address. Copy it, then come to IDOJ. Start a new post here, and click the http:// button up at the top. Then paste in the URL address you got from photobucket. Then name it something (like "contest entry") and click the add reply button to submit your post.
If you don't have photobucket or some other image hosting site, start a new post. Then, scroll down to near where the "add reply" button is. Above it is a button that says "browse". Click it, and find the file on your computer. Then click add reply, and your pic will be uploaded along with your new post.

Well, today my parents and I were looking at Frys ads, and it turns out that Corel Painter XI is on rebate for a price of $19.99! :o I was shocked, AND astounded!

Me: "Alright, who wants to take a trip to FRYS?!" :lol: My Dad's picking up the program for me on his way home from work. I'll probably spend hours and hours just trying to learn how to use Corel Painter right. I'm going to be on ALL night looking at tutorials online and at the manual that comes with it. ><;

Corel is a good program. I don't use it very often but it has some cool features. Um..ya...haha. It took me like...omg...like 3 months to truly get the hang of photoshop. :bock: But then again, I didn't use a single tutorial and my copy of the program came from my dad's work and had no instructions. So ya. I'm still getting the hang of some of the tools even today. It's an ongoing process. o:)

Ya, April's bathing suit DOES look like it's riding up her butt. That, however, arose from an issue in perspective, not because I wanted it to look skimpy. I just couldn't draw it so that it looked right unless I exposed...well, more than I wanted to. As for Aurora, she ALWAYS wears that outfit...I guess it's kinda sexy, more alien-looking than anything. It's supposed to look almost creepy in a way, since the silver tubing follows the lines of the body and thus lends a skeletal appearance. Future Libby, though, is meant to look sexy. She just IS. B)
