Ok, I have another fanfic idea, and I think it's in character with the show. And it's about Sheen, so it will be funny, and sweet at the same time. I will hopefully have it done in time to submit it by Mother's Day.

Genre:Realistic Fiction
Description: It is a week before Mother's Day, and they're doing a Mother Marvals, just like the Father Follies. Everyone is doing something with their moms, except Sheen, who's mom is, very sadly, not alive -_- . He and his dad have a secret discusion, not even known by me, and at the Mother Marvals presentation, Sheen reads a short essay he (or rather I) wrote about her and her life. I think its going to be very sweet and will show an emotional side to Sheen (I know, what a shock :blink: )

So let’s try to keep it real, people. I don’t think we’re asking much here. Just try to put yourselves in our shoes for a minute and maybe you’ll understand. How would you feel if some knock-off with a pen could control your every move?

I think you should try to be pretty realistic, but don't COMPLETELY forget your artistic license. Just don't abuse it either. Cuz a fic is never fun if it's EXACTLY like the show! I mean, Mara's isn't!

Heh!  I just read the two chapters in question.  Really, I was more amused than offended.  The guy's, uh, "writing style" is such that it's hard to take anything he writes seriously.  He writes a love scene as though he's never actually been in one.   :lol:

yeah, and isn't that just the thing too? it's like we're reading the inside of his mind... which turns out to be two kids, erm, "having experiences." the pename Mr. Muscles could be of the same idea. *snort*

when I read, "They both enter the principle’s office. 'This won’t take long, and neither of you are in trouble. In fact, I just wanted to tell you that because both of you parents are on vacation, you two will walk each other home. You may go.' said the pricible," I literally burst out laughing. It was so funny to me that I actually started to become hysterical, so I finished the other chapter in question and decided to stop reading it.

:lol: really though, it's completely ridiculous. and yet so amusing, in a stupid way.



[edit] I was sooo bored so I went back and finished reading it. The last part is totally randomly placed. And it just... ends like that! Thanks, Mr. Muscles, for writing such a weird, dumb, (and frankly, disturbing) fanfic. It made me laugh. [/edit]

I know, right? I read "Pain", and it was without a doubt the most melodramatic, massively OOC piece of JN fanfiction I have ever laid eyes upon. I mean...Cindy's dad being an abuser? Sheen's dad an alcoholic? JIMMY'S dad a wife beater??? As in that gentle, cluess guy obsessed with pie and ducks?? WTF?
And then there's the kids...Nick's a druggie girlfriend beater, Cindy is a push-over who can't even articulate her thoughts, Sheen's a cheater, Jimmy's a cheater, and everyone seems to be experiencing SEVERE mental issues. Not to mention the fact that practically everyone has slept with everyone else! Sheen and Cindy, Jimmy and Libby...I was like...eww! You perverted writer! Put that pen away before you hurt someone!
And then, as if things weren't soap-operish enough, the author had to go and give Jimmy a brain tumor. Hello! He's a genius! Why can't he cure the thing? Why can't he give Nick a piece of one of his inventions? Where the heck ARE his inventions???
Anyway, this little commentary by Cindy and Libby was my way of having the last laugh in terms of fics like that one.

Oh wow. I just realized, Hugh so does not have to see that. He wouldn't appreciate people writing him as such.


I also read in one fanfic that Hugh never got out of the bad state in "Make Room For Daddy-O". And the writer put Hugh as some old, drunk, absuser, and all of that nice stuff. :rolleyes: Anyways, it says that Judy leaves him because he was the reason Jimmy had died.(Yes I know, Jimmy was dead throughout the entire fic) Then he meets up with her at a bar, where he tried to "hit" on her, but he was so drunk he didn't realize who it was.


Basically, yeah your write these fanfics are way OOC. Well the bad ones anyways. Mara, once again, this was a brilliant idea!
