This entire topic has me in stitches :lol:

Bad fanfiction... well, wow, there really are a few out there that REALLY stands out! And on the Hugh topic... I've read FAR too many stories where Hugh just gets up and leaves his family and/or becomes an abusive drunkard... why do they write this about him? I could never imagine Hugh in that way! It's the complete opposite of what he is

I understand that some "writers" want to show their own personal take on the show...

but why is it all drenched in emo? The reason I like the show is because it's a FUNNY and imaginative show! That's why I'm attracted to it! I don't WANT to read about every character going into depression, and what's with Jimmy always becoming a lone wolf as he gets older?

Seriously. Drama is okay... but some fics out there take it too far D:

Mr. Muscle's fics are kinda weird, and sometimes gross.

One of his fics, E-Bombers, gets to a J/C fic, but then it just gets kinda sick.

Everyone's entering 6th grade. They are still the same age they were in the series. REMEMBER THAT, AND YOU WILL KNOW WHY CHAPTER 5-6 ARE SICKENING.

*falls over laughing* ...I ...can't breath! XD After reading that fic by "Mr Muscles".
I had to stop reading when I saw this:

“What was that all about? What’s been going on in here?” asked Sheen, concerned.

Jimmy walks down the stares to the front door. He turns to face Sheen.

“You’re too young and immature to understand.” said Jimmy.

Jimmy leaves the house.

Not ONLY does the author switch tense when explaining actions, but he appearantly FORGOT the obvious fact that almost all the kids are the same age, but that Sheen is actually 2 years older. XDDDD *dies again from loss of breath* Jimmy sounds like a freaking robot... and yeah, Jimmy sure acted mature with Cindy all right, conserning his age

Gee. Now THIS worries me. REALLY!!!

I'm currently writng (yeah you guessed it) a J/C fic. And unfortuatly for me it does have a depressing part where:

1 - Jimmy dies

2 - Cindy goes into a depression

3 - Jimmy goes into depression

And other stuff, although I'd NEVER be THAT OOC or whatever.

In fact it's not all that depressing. I hope. Man. Now I feel bad. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

You Go Girls! Mara, that has to be one of the freakiest and funniest things I've ever read! So, FU-NNY! Cindy and Libby have a knack for comedy when it comes to criticizin' our work, now don't they? I guess I don't blame them.

Yeah, I have to admit that the drama in JN fanfics today is OVER-THE-TOP! Not really how they are.

Not really the ones I read and like, but I know that there are ones out there like that, it couldn't have been put better.
I remember reading a songfic onshot where Nick actually got Cindy pregnant at 18 and left them when the baby was born. What? They wouldn't do THAT! I'll admit the later part w/ Jimmy was romantic, but where did he come out of nowhere? What are the odds? And, Cindy's not that weak and is stronger than that. It was so OOC. But, I shouldn't bash it too much.
Nick being a rapist, never heard that one, but I believe it.

I do love how she said they weren't TOO far off about Betty and April being evil. That was too good to be true. Yeah, that's Cindy for you. I DO think Betty's evil, but I DON'T think April is. April Rocks! But, its cute that Cindy's so jealous and sees them that way. That's real to the serious, girl. :kawaii:

Of course, don't get them started on the romances! That's probably what they have the biggest issure with.
Oh, this was good. Think next time you write people. You don't want to have to face the wrath of Cynthia Aurora Vortex, and her sidekick--Libby Folfax.

Totally, dude. That is so true. It makes no sense when they do stuff like that. It would never happen on the show.
I like romantic, but how about romantic that would happen in their life, or on the show or even in their future when they get together. Nothing...this weird. :blink:

I like the way you think. You know, even though this was suppossed to be comedic w/ the girls (and it IS) maybe it will actually open up some people's eyes to these writing styles and that their not right. Hmm?
