A topic to lament about the incredible show made by Gooseworx and produced by Glitch.

I became absolutely obsessed with this show a few months ago but didn't make this topic because I knew I might go as a character to the masquerade. That's over now so I have a mouth and must scream about this show, as it is currently one of my favorite things.

I couldn't believe when they advertised the new episode during the Glitch Direct behind the scenes special, it was revealed that it's gonna be BEACH PARTY and we'd need to wait 2 more months 'til December 12th! MAKES PERFECT SENSE.

At least that's less than 1 month away now.

 

During the entire preview showing bits of the characters at the beach I kept screaming to myself, "Where's Jax?! Where's Jax?! Haha, cute, WHEREISJAX?!" until someone in the comments pointed him out in the background. 

 

That last episode really got me freaked out.

 

Also Kinger is my sweet baby ever since Episode 3, and I'd probably be the most devastated if we lost him, despite my implications above about Jax. 

 

I have no idea what's gonna happen next, but at least you made this topic, Sarah, to rant about it.

Have you seen the new pitiful little Jax plushie Glitch advertised in their little race car thing? He looks and sounds wrecked, I'm definitely afraid for him lol.

KINGER is amazing, but I'm definitely concerned for him... heck I'm concerned for everyone.

During my rewatch I also got a little scared wondering if Pomni's archetype might not be "the Hero," and if it is.... eek.

The beach party thing is awesome though given Bubbles previous comment. (Bubble is hilarious but his glitching scares me a little, I believe he is more unhinged than we think lol.) But when they said December I was like awww bc I think everyone had me convinced it would be mid November at the latest, but alas, I can wait!

I'm excited and terrified because supposedly this next episode is supposed to get way more intense after the beach part.

I am not sure how to process this episode and the crushing reality of what it means for the future of the show, considering there are only two episodes left.

Also Jax, what the heck.

I will likely scream about this more later after I watch the episode a couple more times to help process it. x.x

It's just on YouTube! You can also find it on Netflix, but YouTube is free aside from the ads lol.

I know I'm late to the party, because even though I did watch the episodes when they first dropped, I haven't posted on IDOJ at all since before the New Year, and before Episode 7, but I WAS RIGHT THERE WITH YOU IN REACTION AND SPEECHLESS...NESS, and couldn't stop saying, "THEY CAN'T JUST DROP THAT AND MAKE US WAIT 3 MONTHS,, WHAT THE FRICK?! BEFORE CHRISTMAS?!"

 

Also I was/am totally on board with the theory that Jax killed a kid. Like, accidentally, in the real world, on the road, explaining the flashbacks and panic attack.

But it was indeed a ROLLER COASTER. F*cking understatement, I know.

At Kinger's last line, "I think...I accidentally killed Caine," I screamed, "That's FINE!!!" 

 

Followed by my excited at Zooble's ability to swear now. Good for her! Long deserved.

 

Apologies that you made this topic, Sarah, in excitement that you and I are both fans, and then I disappeared, it's just bad habit, but I'm still as much of a fanatic of the show as ever.

 

And just yesterday - after catching up on some youtube shorts in my subscriptions - after ignoring them while binging "Taken" movie reactions most of the day as background noise while doing things - I saw the new ADC short about the finale being in actual movie theaters (when I first clicked on it I thought it was about new merch, which I always still watch because they're really funny and creative), and thought that was awesome, but likely not near me, only in those special theaters that has cool events like that, but worth clicking on the locations anyway, and it IS at my local movie theater, and hurried up and bought a ticket before it's sold out!

THIS will be the highlight of my summer, though I'm likely to leave the building a crying mess.

 

I know now that I'm back to talking about the show here all of my Episode 7 opinions from months ago (and my Episode 8 opinions from weeks ago) will come flooding back to me! 

 

I've said for a long time that when the show ends I will feel so empty, but now I don't care so much and June 6th can't come fast enough (a Saturday was best for me, though I know June 4th is the soonest day, so I'll need to be extremely careful avoiding spoilers during those agonizing first few days)!

 

(Oh, and I haven't watched the trailer for the finale yet, I was nervous to do so, but now I guess I need to with all my anticipation for the theater premiere. Yikes.)

Jax's backstory is so questionable, I really hope we actually find out what's up with him, but I'm pretty sure we will based on the trailer and the poster and everything. It feels like the last episode is gonna be pretty Jax-centered.

When the happy music came on after Zooble swore I'm pretty sure I literally screamed at the TV. Episode 8 felt SO SHORT even though I know it wasn't really.

YES WE'RE SEEING IT ON THE SAME DAY!! I was a little bummed because when I first checked the closest theater was over an hour away but I checked again later and they had a theater in my town and I was so darn excited. I would have done June 4th too but the earliest showing was 7 and Nick gets up super early for work so I figured he'd fall asleep in the theater lol. He's off Saturday so that just worked better. I'm both excited and terrified. I have seen the trailer and it is terrifying lol.
