Listened up through episode 9 so far. It's a great thing to listen to while super sick and feverish. Though I have to wonder...maybe listening is what's making me super sick and feverish.

That wouldn't surprise me. The show does tend to have some...strange effects on outsiders.

 

But in most cases its pretty darn soothing and relaxing. Feel better!

Wait. I've just been slipped a note reminding me that the notion I had about the show making me sick was completely a figment of my imagination, and that the thought never actually crossed my mind. I don't know, Emily, there might be parts you'd like and parts you wouldn't. I know you probably wouldn't like a lot of the existential horror-esque themes and descriptions, but there's also a lot of humor and cuteness in there, too, that mixes in really well. If you're really too afraid just avoid it, but if you're really curious just try listening to the pilot, maybe a few more, and see if you like it. I do say, like with most shows, that it gets better as it goes on, and the earlier episodes aren't a completely fair representation of the entire series, but its a decent way to test the waters.

To be honest, I don't think the show would appeal to you, Em. I don't think it would hurt to listen to the first two episodes, though, just to see for yourself.
