Since we have a topic for our favorite fanfictions (and one more specifically for oneshots), I decided to make one for our favorite fan videos. Because hey, why not? As far as I know we don't have any other topic to share them. They're without a doubt my favorite pieces of fanworks from any fandom, and I'm curious of the styles others love.

This is not for your own fan videos or videos made by other IDOJers, but for your personal favorites by others. Any fandom is allowed. Show us the ones you found on youtube, liked, favorited, and completely abused the replay button on.

I'll start with some of my favorite HIMYM fan videos from youtube.

I don't know this person, but I want him/her as my new best friend! Why isn't this person my best friend?


I actually teared up a bit at this one the first few times. It portrayed every relationship of the series no matter how minor, and reminded me why I love the show. Its THAT good.

Huffley6 makes amazing Starkid videos (some of which I'll probably post later in this topic), but her Labyrinth vid is one of my top favorites on youtube:




Also, Mara, that Avatar "Remember the Name" vid has been one of my favorites since you showed it to me months (years?) ago.

Speaking of Starkid, my favorite non-Huffley6 vid about them is the following:



It's not the most well made video ever, but it captures the spirit of Team Starkid so well. I love it.

I know this song is really cheesy and really overused, but I still think the video is well made and well balanced. Call it a guilty pleasure if you wish.

Okay, this wins for fan-made videos. It's ACTUALLY fan-made. As in, it's animated by a fan of the show. It's NOT clips from the show. The song is also not from the show. It's written and sung by fans of the show. This is fan-made entirely, but it looks like something straight out of the show.

Now, MLP fans have made a lot of animated clips on their own that look close to show quality. But this is the first that I've actually had to do a double-take for and make sure I wasn't watching some song out of Season 3. Holy cow.
