I know. I don't know why I'm so effin' excited. These guys have been canon for SO LONG. But I still swoon..

Same. I am such a hopeless romantic for these two. I watch other ships become canon with a straight face and a heart of stone. But throw Lizzie and Darcy into a scene together, and I go

Blech. Sorry, guys. As soon as the got all cutesy and mushy and kissy I was done. I forced myself to finish watching the clip because I do dearly love all these characters. But man, couldn't one kiss have been enough? DID THEY HAVE TO KEEP DOING THAT?! Get a room and stop FILMING YOURSELVES AHHHHH.

 

(Not raining on parades, I do love that Lizzie and Darcy are together. Just...hoping no more making out on camera...)

When characters start stripping off each other's clothes in a scene, that's when I start getting uncomfortable But kissing and pawing? Done right, WE WANTS IT YES PRECIOUSSS

As for the multiple kisses thing, I see why they did it. Kiss #1 was Lizzie confessing her feelings by kissing Darcy. Kiss #2 was Darcy professing reciprocal feelings and probably letting off some steam by kissing Lizzie. Kiss #3 was them reaching a mutual understanding by sharing a kiss as equals. All 3 served a narrative purpose and a fangirl-fulfillment purpose.
