Just wanted to compile a list, because without these guys, we wouldn't have a show. I actually checked the credits of every single freaking episode, so you people better be appreciative.

While JN is obviously my fave cartoon, my inner rage monster would like to point out that, out of a writing crew of SIXTEEN (and that's not including the clusterf*ck number of writers for the JTPH specials), there is only ONE female writer, and she shares a credit with her husband on only two episodes. One female writer. One. Out of sixteen.

Well, technically Jed Spingarn, Gene Grillo AND Steven Banks ALL made WLK, so their combined might = godhood.

Though my favorite episode is Trading Faces, so Andrew Nicholls and Daryl Vickers have to make the pantheon somewhere...

It's really not surprising. If you look at the writing credits for ANY TV show, but especially animated stuff, the writing staff is overwhelmingly male. I talked to two of my friends who are in animation school about this, and they both said that girls don't have all that much trouble breaking into the drawing side of that field anymore, but that female animation writers are basically ignored. That's one reason why MLP's primarily-female writing staff, headed by Lauren Faust, is such a big deal. As you know, MLP isn't my particular cup of tea, but I definitely respect it for that fact alone.

I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon here and say my favorite eps are Stranded and King of Mars and favorite movie is Win, Lose, Kaboom. Stranded never fails to make me laugh. Even after practically memorizing the whole episode.
