[Mara=^.^=]

I'm looking to expand the links on the fanfiction page of the mainsite...and I need your help. 90% of the JN fanfics I've seen on ff.net are utter CRAP, so I'd like your assistance picking out the ones that are good enough to be featured on the mainsite.

Things I'm looking for in fics:
- Writing competency (avoid fics with awkward wording and/or tons of spelling and grammar errors)
- Characters acting like they should (OOCness is a big NO)
- Completion (finished fanfics ONLY)

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO RECOMMEND FICS THAT YOU HAVE WRITTEN. YOU MAY ONLY LINK ME TO STORIES BY OTHER AUTHORS. YOU MAY NOT FISH FOR OTHER IDOJERS TO RECOMMEND YOUR STORIES (don't say, "Hey ______, you read my story and liked it, right? You should totally recommend it!"). DO NOT FEEL OFFENDED IF YOUR FIC ISN'T SUGGESTED BY ANYONE. SUCK IT UP.

Remember, the purpose of this topic is to help me dig up fics I've never heard of, and I've probably already heard of yours. So it's OK if nobody recommends it (though you can recommend fics by other IDOJers if you want, as long as they're hosted on ff.net).

That's actually kinda tough for me, since a lot of the fics I like on FF.net aren't finished, though they're very well written and are totally IN CHARACTER. But I finally did find this one:

Thanks for the rec, but there are quite a few spelling errors in this one, and to be honest I'm not sure that it's very "in character".

Oh, man, Mara, finished works? That doesn't exist in the JN world.

I have TONS of one shots that I love... My ultimate fave fic is, Do You Remember me? But, you all ready know about that one Mara, so that doesn't count... right?

New Technology by RedGem270 is pretty good.

Quietthinker has a few fics that are really funny so if you want a laugh, look him up. I think Stealing My Heart made me laugh so hard I peed myself.

And of course, Gads2000, I especially love the Eye of the Llama! HILARIOUS!

I found one that was pretty good. The spelling errors aren't too bad and while the characters may not be 100% themselves but they are pretty close considering the events of the story and best of all it's complete (allthough the sequel was never finished it looked pretty good too)

The name of the fic is Military Science.

*Be warned it does contain some mild swearing and violence nothing too graphic though.*

I think I found one of the few authors on ff.net who is not lost in her own sad little J/C fantasy world of pointless fluff.

Don't get me wrong a little fluff is ok in fact a Jimmy neutron ff is almost pointless without at least a little J/C goodness but let's face it you can take it too far and it needs a plot of some type.

Yes it is OOC but it is blatantly OOC to make a point.

I just read "A Treatise on Beauty" by the same author. Blatantly JC-centric, obviously, but also amusing.
