Okay, I think J/C is a tiny bit over rated, J/B don't have much in common, and J/A is sort of impossible, so why talk about it?

Does anyone eles here think that Jimmy should be alone? I do, In My Opinion Jimmy Parings moreless get in the way of his scientific work, many people like J/C, J/B, and J/A (It's still IMPOSSIBLE) and I understand that, but I think this whole Jimmy paring stuff is getting a bit confusing...there it is.

He could be alone but I think he would get lonely when he gets older. Einstein got married, if only to have companionship. He didn't want kids because that is what would've distracted him.

J/A isn't impossible. I've thought of some pretty believable fanfic ideas with that pairing, in my opinion. On fanfiction.com April is in the character list even when Elke isn't. That automatically makes her an important character.

I agree that Jimmy will end up with someone, at least for companionship. Now Einstein didn't have a robot dog to give him company, so he got married. But Jimmy has already learned that he can't just shut out his personal life for science.

As much as I despise J/C, Support J/B, and don't have a opinion about J/A, Jimmy could be alone in the future.

I was thinking of creating an OC ala Stacy's OC April, but I don't want the OC to be labeled a Mary Sue, since there are sites on LiveJournal that hunt down Sues.

@ Beks- I've been thinking that maybe Jimmy might not have Goddard into adulthood. In The Tomorrow Boys when they are in the bad future, Adult Jimmy mentions Goddard only to have Young Jimmy say ' You still have Goddard?!'. He seemed really surprised.

@ Urvy- I never understood hatred towards a cetain pairing in fandoms. I am an avid J/C shipper but have nothing against J/B. They would make a nice couple. My little "issue" is we never saw much of Betty. From what we did see is that when the occasion calls for it, she can stand up for herself. Unlike Lila from Hey! Arnold who was pretty much a one note hitter. All was rainbows and rose colored glasses. But I don't despise her either.

Not trying to start a shipper war or anything.

Well in tomorrow boys Jimmy did have Goddard, even when the future was crappy and he was married to Cindy. He kept him around dispute not being able to do maintenance on him. Goddard was probably a very good companion during the dark times of Libby' dictatorship. In a normal future, I think that Goddard would be an even greater companion because Jimmy would have the ability to repair and upgrade him as the years go by.

The reason I think younger Jimmy was surprised that Goddard was still around was because he didn't think dictator Libby would allow him to keep him or that he had been assimilated into the robots controlled by Libby.

It's the rabid fans that ruin J/C. They also tend to make fics that vilify Betty and make anti-J/B comments on J/C videos.

@ Urvy- Okay I will admit that I wrote one fic where I made Betty mean but it was my first fanfic and it was years ago. I actually don't like it when they do diss Betty. Heck I wrote a story recently where she is nice and friendly with Cindy. I have another story in mind and may add Betty to it in some role. Nice, don't worry.

@ Beks- Hmm that makes sense.

Maybe in the good future, Jimmy is married to Betty I suppose.

so your saying that cause of the bad future jimmy is married to cindy so i a good future he would be married to someone else or no one but in this bad future jimmy and cindy's marriage is kinda one-sided and bad itself so in the good future he might still be married to cindy but it would be a good marriage

@Mystic. I agree with Beks. .. I think he would still have Goddard. except in the real future he will be able to make modifications to keep him in good condition.

I totally concur with that! He would have him and would have the know-how to keep him well-cared-for and he would have the best upgrades Jimmy could muster.

I had thought so but his reaction when in the bad future made me a bit doubtful. But I agree that he will keep Goddard for as long as possible.

Yeah, I understand Mystic. Maybe he was just surprised though, not because he though Goddard wouldn't be around but because he still was alive.... Since Goddard is made of wheels and screws and stuff maybe he thought he would've stopped working. or something..

In the Good Future, he wins TONS of noble peace prizes and has a super huge ego. That's what ten year old Jimmy saw anyway.

Not only a bunch of awards, but a happy marriage with an unknown person, maybe the other person could be Betty.
