I'm thinking about getting into Dengeki Daisy, since Kate(Katia) told me it was a relatively clean anime; wouldn't have much of the "dirty"/gruesome content I despise, she told me... What do the rest of you guys think of it??
Not bad, if you don't mind the squick factor of a 24 year old janitor being in love with a 16 year old high school girl.
If you don't mind reading a manga instead of watching an anime, I would recommend the Cardcaptor Sakura manga to you, because from what I've heard, it's adorable (my friend Emma loves it).

My favorite TV show is SpongeBob SquarePants, followed by Jimmy Neutron.
The rest of my top 10 is as follows:
3. The Fairly OddParents (seasons 1-8 - I haven't seen seasons 6-8 in a while but I remember enjoying them)
4. The Simpsons (seasons 1-8, though none of the series is outright bad)
5. Hey Arnold!
6. Rocko's Modern Life
7. Rugrats
8. Pokemon
9. Phineas and Ferb
10. Gravity Falls
Or something like that anyway.
I honestly really like Planet Sheen so that might be in my top 15, but maybe it's just nostalgia because I saw it when it came out and before I went back to regular JN.

Oh fun, I didn't know there's a topic for this. I certainly have a clear Top 10 list.
Cartoons:
1. Hey Arnold - THE GOAT SERIES FOR ME, This is all of what I can say:

It's the only series that has thee queen, Helga Pataki on it which is straight first pick win in my list
I actually also discovered this show through here. I remember browsing through the topics in this forum and saw some discussion about HA which had me looking it up on YT with the first video I watched of it is the kiss from the first movie haha. I still have a clear memory of that clip. I'm so lucky to discover this show just before The Jungle Movie roll-out ![]()
2. Star vs the Forces of Evil - Star and Marco's contrasting personality and bond as the show went on along with their multiverse concept is what drawn me into this show so much. While I agree there's some things that could be done better during the final epsiodes, I still view the series as outstanding overall.
(Those two are pretty much locked in there for two reasons: It has a lot of elements aligned with my interests and I have great memories on following/hyperfixiating over it during its time, TJM for HA that is haha)
3. Jimmy Neutron - I had a vivid memory of watching the show when I was 8 at 2010 and immediately falling in love with J/C dynamic. It's initially low on my list but upon revisiting it in recent years, I never realized how well written the episodes and humor was haha.
4. Avatar: TLA and LOK - Recent addition, didn't realize how much I'm missing out. LIN BEIFONG, that's all ![]()
5. Rugrats/All Grown Up - I prefer AGU, I'm sorry
. I'm at my Y2K teen shows obsession phase at the moment. But I love how the Rugrats babies were realistically developed in this series. I'M LIVING FOR THE DRAMA HAHA.
6. Combo Ninos - It's a very obscure French cartoon that didn't even air in the US, but it was my very first fandom when I joined in 2013.
7. Miraculous Ladybug - I'm not as passionate about this as I was during '19-'21 but I still have very fond memories of following it. It's a very pandemic era show for me.
8. The Loud House - A very fun and comfort series to watch for me, especially in its earlier seasons, kind of sad how vindicated this is nowadays. People be acting to this show as if it killed their grandmas, like chill ya'll.
9. Phineas and Ferb
10. Kim Possible
Some of the shows I'm planning to watch that might overthrow some shows here in my list: Danny Phantom, As Told My Ginger, and Teen Titans (the original one)

Lol Rugrats. It seemed at the time like they were putting realistic baby development in but like...Chuckie didn't say his first word until the Rugrats in Paris movie, when he was canonically almost two years old, and NOBODY was remotely concerned with how delayed his speech was. I've thought about that a lot since having Ronan. He would have been in Early Intervention IRL if he was approaching two with no speech abilities beyond baby babbling.
Right on that aspect of the show HAHA, If I see a kid like Angelica, I don't care if you're three, we're gonna fight /jk. I remember my mom and relatives being super worried already when one of my nephews still isn't speaking properly at 1
which is completely valid. I can't say I know the feeling as I don't have any children yet but I imagine the horror. I do hope everything is going well with your kid though
On another note, I remember LOVING the All Grown Up Christmas episode, specifically the part where Chuckie accidentally steals a Christmas tree from someone else's yard and then has a public meltdown when he finds out about it and yells at the mall Santa.
That was a fun episode, Chuckie is my favorite male character in this franchise just 'cause I'm always drawn to the socially awkward characters haha. My favorites are more on the later episodes of the series. They're not outstandingly well-written per se but personally, I live for the drama HAHA. I ate up the Tommy and Kimi ship teasing plot they did on the Halloween episode, they're so cute together, but the producers weren't able to expand on it. But hey, that's what fanfics are for ![]()

Listing my favourite shows is kind of difficult for me, but if I HAD to pick one that I would call my favourite... I would probably have to say South Park. That show's humour is just top notch, in my opinion, and their social & political satire is second to none (except maybe Terry Pratchett). I love the fact that they'll make fun of anyone, and won't hesitate to say exactly what they think on a subject (in a very exaggerated and hilarious way, of course). I also just love all the characters, and even find a sort of weird charm to the cheapness of the animation.
Attack on Titan is another show that would be up there for me. It just has so much of what I love. Intriguing mysteries, compelling plot & character development, awesome action scenes, incredible music & animation, and I love how it challenges its audience, and makes them change their perspective from time to time. It's one of those shows that I can watch over and over, and discover something new each time. (I'm actually working on a video, listing my top 10 AOT characters (it probably won't be finished for a while though, lol)).
Game of Thrones will always have a special place in my heart as well. The first 4 seasons in particular, I would still argue is some of the best television ever made. The characters were all so fascinating and well-written, and it always kept me on the edge of my seat. Like many people, I was disappointed with the ending, but for me it was more due to the events leading up to it feeling rushed than the ending itself - I actually mostly like where things ended up.
Other shows I love include Jimmy Neutron (duh), My Hero Academia, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Gravity Falls, Avatar: The Last Airbender, House of the Dragon, The Walking Dead, Lucifer, The Clone Wars, Band of Brothers, Hogan's Heroes, and Prison Break.
I also really enjoyed the Fallout series that came out this year (I'm a big fan of the games), but I'll have to give it more time to see if it would be one of my favourites.

There is a decently wide range of what is considered normal ages to meet milestones, but yeah an almost two year old SHOULD ABSOLUTELY have at least had a handful of words his parent/regular caregiver could understand.
I think they actually recently revised the official descriptions of milestones, to make it easier to identify when a child is delayed. So now it's something like "about 75% of kids can do x, y, z by this age" instead of the previous "about half of Kids can do this" so it sounds like the milestones were scaled back, but really they just describe what the majority can do, rather than just some.

Interesting on these changes, there's probably some scientific explanations on this regarding evolution and stuff like that. Thank you for letting me know about this, would be a useful information in the future.

I watched a few earlier AOT epsiodes with a friend last year and wasn't able to finish it. Would love to continue it with cousins though 'cause she mentioned some interesting crazy sh*t happening to this anime HAHA I like Mikasa on the ones I watched.
Edit: I saw a hillarious AOT meme on FB today and can't help but share here, Malcolm HAHA
