Nicely written, and I respect J/B'ers, but I've been a J/C fan, because with them, you feel the connection. Cindy's the only one who can bring down Neutron's huge ego, and Jimmy's the only one really on the same intellectual plane as Cindy. Of course, Cindy will always be second best to Neutron's brain, but she's worked hard to get where she is. As for the abuse, idk about your theory, although it makes sense. After all, they are only 11 as of the end of the series.
Also, you never connect with Betty, because she's only present in, what, 2 episodes? And something about her has annoyed me since Vanishing Act, when she told Cindy to back off, and that Neutron was all hers. She sounded mean there so I partially understand why people may write her off as a B**** in their fanfics. But then again, Cindy too can yell at Jimmy too much and she might have just been annoyed.

What about the crazed maniacs that are in YouTube and FF.Net?I COMPLETELY AGREE with you, Sanjana! I am VERY RESPECTFUL of ALL view-points, and/or, opinions, and, as such, I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND where ALL you J/Bers are coming from, and I REALLY RESPECT your opinions! HOWEVER, I am am livid J/C shipper, although, I am also a multi-shipper (which is why I can enjoy a GOOD J/B Fic). All I have to say to add to Sanjana's statement is that they were KIDS, when the show ended, and the truths about their futures, their characterizations, and their maturity levels will NEVER BE TRULY REVEALED, EXCEPT to John A. Davis, who created this WHOLE Fandom! He OBVIOUSLY meant Jimmy and Cindy to end-up together (at least throughout middle school, and, perhaps, high school, as well). While I would NEVER characterize Betty OR Nick as villains (in fact, in my FanFic, "Genius: The Next Generation," they're BOTH GOOD GUYS, and/or, ALLIES to our heroes) or B*****, I do see where people get the idea that Betty is B****. In the episode, "Vanishing Act," she was, indeed, more of a B****, than ANY OTHER female character on the show (at least in MY PERSONAL opinion), and, yes, while Cindy was, and/or, is ALWAYS MEAN to Jimmy, she ALWAYS did it out of JEALOUSLY, INSECURITIES, or AFFECTION! Betty just led Jimmy on, and she REALLY MEANT WHAT SHE SAID, when she said, "Back-off, Cindy!, ...He's all yours..." That's all I have to say; that's my ten cents (THAT RIGHT: I said TEN! I had ten pennies lying around, so I decided to throw them at my awesome fellow JN-Lovers! I hope you all like the spare change...)

To me, they're fixated with seeing Jimmy dominated by Cindy.

...Perhaps ...PERHAPS (BIIIIG IF) THEY are fixated with that; HOWEVER, WE are NOT. We just enjoy the whole "Rivals-In-A-Relationship" thing, and the cuteness of the childhood puppy-love. The arguing just makes it more realistic, and more enjoyable, in my opinion. I enjoy a BALANCED argument (and the arguments between Jimmy and Cindy are ALWAYS balanced), however, and I do NOT condone abusive behavior. However, NO character on the show had EVER exhibited ANY abusive behavior, and, so it would be unfair to assume that they would exhibit such behavior when they got older.
