I see your point of view, though. I agree that Betty doesn't deserve vilification, but I don't think Cindy deserves it either. If you don't think your favourite character should be bashed, maybe extend that courtesy to the other side?

Retribution COULD be good if done in a joking manner so that Cindy-supporters can appreciate it...But if you seriously bash Cindy to tiny pieces in retaliation to certain 'extremists' bashing your preferred character, then you risk alienating a lot of the people who like Cindy. And there are a LOT of those.

Cupcakes was written by either an extremely dedicated troll or a torture-porn addicted asylum inmate. I don't see much of a link between your fic and that one, and to be honest I don't think you'd want to make that connection.

That fic was written purely to destroy innocence and encourage the destruction of your own retinas. Your fic actually has a purpose and some sort of positive emotion behind it - albeit a slightly misguided one, IMO.

i think Betty might be 12 years old, and if i'm not mistaken, the creators knew she was a Mary-Sue. that might've been what they were doing in the fist place with her. making her a Mary-sue. then again, I could be wrong.
