But, there's a chance that old habits would eventually return when they get older.

Really?? Are you SUUUUUURRRRREEE about that????? I've reverted from my 11-year-old ways once I was in my mid to late teens, and I haven't gone back since. How is Jimmy and Cindy's relationship any different?? Sure, they may have their occasional spats, but I'm confident that they'll stay together until the end.

Ha Then I guess Cindy would need major Theropy, because it would be kind of sad if she refused to grow out of her 11 year old self.

Indeed. That's why I don't support J/C, fears that her old habits would come back to her and she'll be abusive.

Well, Thats your opinion and I respect it, but I don't agree with it. I think the abusive thing is taking it a bit far. We never know how someone will be when they get older. Kids are cruel, but that doesn't mean they will be that way when they are older.

Yeah, exactly! Just cuz someone's mean when they're 11 doesn't mean they'll be that way forever. People change as they get older. It's a fact of life.

I agree. I believe Cindy will mellow out a bit as she gets older...if you know what I mean.

I agree with those of you who said that Cindy could change when she gets older. I believe that she is the way she is because of peer pressure. People expect her to not like Jimmy because he had knock her down as smartest kid. They are 11 and have very sensitive egos. Is it possible for old habits to come back, of course.
Also I don't agree that she dominates him. If that was the case he would let her get away with all the insults she throws at him and he doesn't. He can stand up for himself pretty good. Besides we saw in Stranded that they can get along when there is no pressure or anything. Pre-teen and early teen stages are probably the toughest. People are going through changes and will get made fun of no matter what.
