Last year, I created a campaign on this forum, hoping to make a cool RP Dungeons and Dragons type of game for us to play. Unfortunetly, due to complicated issues, it was discontinued. This time however, I think we can get through this. All it takes is a bit more explaining prior to the actual mission.

So the idea is that when you sign up, you are a character on this mission. I, as the self appointed Game Master, will through obstacles and enemies in your way as you try to complete the mission. Now, when this happens, one of the mistakes that people make is to jump up and say that they defeated the enemy in one move, or remove an obstacle with no sweat. That's not how these type of things work. You have to take it one step at a time. For example, say I put a chest in a room you're in. Someone, wanting to be overly helpful would do something like the following:

"I open the chest and find a bunch of gold coins inside."

However, it is actually up to me what's in the chest, or whether or not it's locked. The same thing goes with an enemy. Take it in steps, and let other people take a whack at the monster before you kill it. I also have the power to say whether your attacks work or not.

Now, I need 4 players for this, but if I can only get three, that's ok. If you want to sign up, make sure you'd be online frequently enough so we don't have to wait around for you.

Ok, here we go:


You recieve a summons to see the Queen in her throne room. Upon your arrival you notice three other Knights standing before Her Highness. You bow when you make eye contact with her.

"Thank you all for coming," she greets your company. "We have a special mission for you. Writer Woman will brief you on the specifics."

Writer Woman, who had been standing to one side of the throne, produced a scroll from an inside pocket of her trench coat and unrolled it with a flourish.

"We have recieved an intelligence report that the notorious Space Bandits have attacked and taken over the small village of Astrob in the Retrovian District. The report says that they did this in the space of one night, under the new moon. However, due to previous intelligence on the Space Bandits, it is assumed that they recieved assistance in the take-over. The helper is at this time unknown. Should you choose to accept, your mission is to go to Astrob, stop the Space Bandits and their mysterious assistance, and restore peace in the town."

The Queen adjusted herself on the throne. "So, are you up to it?"

that sounds cool though
even though not into mmorpg games like World of Warcraft(or WOW like i call it)
