I believe it is time for me to pick a winner, since it looks like Pedro and Katie aren't going to enter 
I think we can all agree that CRYS is a shoe-in for the first prize. I mean after all, her poems DID make us all crack up not once, but 3 times.
Here is but a small sample of her literary greatness:
Title: TV Go Dark
Characters: Sheen and Jimmy
Six syllables? Lame!
Prestidigitation ack!
Learning hurts my brain.
And so Crys, without further ado, allow me to present you with your badge of honor!

I think you should be happy for Crys for winning. If I gave you an honorable mention for an honest first attempt, I'd have to give EVERYONE who entered the contest an honorable mention...since, as I recall, theirs were all honest first-time attempts too.
Then again, that's kind of a good idea:
