I think I might try this, but I'm a D-U-D when it comes to poetry. I might try to shoot for my fave shipping, J/C, but I'm not sure how it'll turn out. But I'll give it a shot when something hits me. *shot* Not like that!!! lol I think limericks are the best poetry I've ever done. Seriously. But it's hard for me to think of something right off the bat. I'll do my best, tho.

As I gaze into your emerald eyes from afar
I dream of our adventures near and far

Woot! I have decided to hop on this bandwagon before it takes off without meXD There were numerous things that traversed across my mind when I looked into this contest today, and this special poem was all I could come up with^^ Hope you all like it^^

Title: Ballad of a lonely scientific heart
Pairing: Jimmy addressing his feelings about Cindy

The light fades to gray as I look beyond the east
though such a sight pains me it still provides quite the feast
for a lonely heart ever beating upon cold notes of empty sorrow
the horizon withholding all my joyous prosperity yet it still reaches out for tomorrow.
sleek machinery pulses and abounds,
but I know no heart nor soul is ever to be found
within their hollow confines and electrical shells,
motherboard circuitry and neon swells,
None of them should truly matter and yet they do,
but why I beseech them, why must this be true?
What is it I am really accomplishing all these phenomenal tasks for,
and why must I agonize all the more,
for if science isn't what makes the heart desire,
then what...or whom is the one who absolutely lights my fire?
Who creates the guiding light in the devouring dark?
To whom do I owe it to for the origin of my spark?
If I seek hard and search far and wide,
perhaps I may arrive at the answer that was hidden inside,
hidden in a certain place that is quite special to me,
and arrives at the girl who has actually has been my neighbor since I was 3.
Will I admit to this fact that confounds me to this day?
Only time will tell is all I have to say...

Here's my poem. The pairing is JC, but I often wander from that subject. Hopefully it'll make sense.

Jimmy and Cindy sitting on a tree
K-I-S-S-I-N-G...

lol, joking. That's not the one this is.

So different, yet so same...

Jimmy and Cindy,
Or J/C as shippers say.
It's IMPOSSIBLE not to think about,
Every single day...
Always jumping at each other,
Out of the blue...
Jimmy's a genius,
and Cindy is too,
Episodes like KoM,
and LSTN, makes you think
Oh wow, is this bickering
ever gonna end?
Either always starts a silly little fight,
and the loser always goes off in plight.
Cindy's always jealous of Jimmy's love interests.
Is there a secret she's keeping from all?
Yes, is the answer to that, I must say.
She loves him more and more by every passing day...
It's the same with dear Jimmy,
Plus they both know it.
But they're afraid to show it!
But I shake my head, and think,
Such hypocrites both of them are.
They're not afraid to shove
each other over the edge,
but they can't tell each other how they feel?
That's kinda wierd, but that's what I love.
That's the J/C way,
and I'm gonna ship it by every passing day...
