I do kinda agree about Betty, though I think her character should've been more fleshed out, and the J/B pairing IMO is just kinda boring; lots more "spice" with the J/C pairing, if ya ask me!

 

Many of the villains in the series, minor or major, strike me as obnoxious and lacking in common sense, even though a few were pretty dang smart as a whole...  The ones I noticed who weren't included in the League of Villains were Buford Lee Stormshuckle, Evil Jimmy, Flippy, Meldar Prime, the nanobots, Dr. Moist, and ugh, Seymour Nimmelfarb, the one I can't stand the most...  What the last one did to Jimmy, ack, really irritates me to no end...! The only reason I've watched the ep Jimmy Goes to College is for the humor in it, but really despise Seymour for what he did, freaking moron... If the series does come back, I hope they never use his character again, unless it's where Jimmy gets back at him for what he did; THAT I'd really enjoy!  He deserves it, jerkwad!

 

I don't know much about Alyssa Milano, either, and her character April just seems kinda one-dimensional...  Pretty dull if you ask me...

Jimmy Neutron wasn’t even supposed to be a show with villains, a lot of them are just for comedic purpose or cultural references (see the Space Bandits) - I can’t stand Seymour either. Jimmy Goes to College was a weak episode. Also I don’t really consider the Nanobots villains as they never consciously harmed anyone and even by the end of the series they were still trying to please Jimmy and his family, just in more and more twisted ways.

Dr. Moist is one of the only villains with a genuinely interesting and original premise but I think his episode was overall very forgettable.

I’m kinda surprised at how popular Carl’s gotten in the last few years, but yeah I can see why you’d say that. He’s pretty funny and a great friend to Jimmy.

One thing I haven’t mentioned is I do not like Bolbi. He’s dumb beyond human comprehension and basically a racist stereotype (surprised JN hasn’t gotten trigger warnings yet). He always feels shoehorned except for his original two appearances in Jimmy For President and Out Darn Spotlight.

Not as real world relevant as that but this show also has the most cannibalism jokes of any kids show I can think of

As for the villains, it was always Professor Calamitous. I always loved mad scientists and still do.

Oh, yeah, forgot about that one...  Probably due to not watching it that often cuz Hugh's actions make me cringe a little, mainly at his lack of common sense... People need toilet paper, Hugh, jeez!  I would've had Judy insist that they take at least that, and Goddard, since all his abilities would've come in handy, considering how inept Hugh is...  Made me wanna slap some sense into him when I first saw it, and every time since!

Okay but here's the thing - all the characters do impractical things in every episode! The reason why they didn't take Goddard is because they were supposed to survive without technology, that was the whole point of the episode. The toilet paper thing was just supposed to be funny. Hugh is still not that dumb, can you imagine if Sheen were running the trip?

Sorry, I have a habit of trying to look at things logically, real life or otherwise...  Guess that's the high-functioning autism in me... You do have a point, though; it would've been pretty chaotic if Sheen had gotten to run the trip! Who knows how it would've turned out then??

I have high-functioning autism too actually - I was just surprised you found that episode in particular cringe-inducing. Carl during the montage is exactly how I would act during a camping trip!

It’s where while Jimmy, Sheen and Hugh are walking through the bog Carl is using bug spray and getting chased by bees, and they go across a scary bridge where Carl screams and Jimmy and Sheen have to carry him LOL!

Oh!  Pffft, I can't believe I forgot about that part!  Too funny!  Poor Carl!  Since Hugh refused to bring toilet paper on that trip, I would hope they didn't wind up using the wrong kinda leaves for that purpose!  Ouch! Be funny if they did and wound up having to take a soothing bath when they got home and use a special kinda soap and later cream to soothe the afflicted area!

Anyway, reviving again!! Drawing from a previous response here, another cringe-worthy ep is my least fave, having just a "meh" opinion of it, Safety First... That time, both Hugh AND Judy were pretty clueless about Jimmy's plight, thinking he was talking about a girl he was crushing on... I seriously wish I could set them straight every time I see the ep, and also that Jimmy had specified that Terry was male, not female... Oy... Him correcting them on that would've certainly clued them in better imo...
