Cell shading is pretty easy. You just shade one half of the body with a shade darker than you already used.

I did the WHOLE thing using the paintbrush tools. I'm not sure I could pull that off... -_- Took me several days to color it, and finding the slightly darker shades to use is very difficult. Can't exactly find a proper tool that'll shade the entire half of the character at once, like I can with PhotoShop...

You need to select areas and fill them with filling tool, or, fill by color without selecting.

I've tried filling in sections with Gimp's fill tool but all that does is make the whole thing one color. It even covers the black lines.

I've tried out Gimp for this so many times, but I just don't understand Gimp. :grr:

Anyway, here's my entry. I used colored pencils and scanned it with my printer.
