Hate to disappoint ya, but one more chapter is as far as I got in this fic, and I'll post it after a while.

Well, it's been a while, so here's the final chapter!! Enjoy! Feel free to discuss the fic after the last chapter is posted; just no harsh criticism, okay?? That's all I ask. Have fun!
Hope For the Hopeless
Chapter 28: Back to Camp
(Cindy's POV)
As they were cheering for us, I saw Mr. & Mrs. Neutron run to the front of the crowd & congratulate their son.
“Congratulations, son!” Hugh told him, “You sure showed those egg-people who's boss!!”
“That's right, Hugh!” Judy agreed, “Those Yokians have NO right to take over our planet when us humans have already colonized our planet to over 6 billion people! Isn't that right, Jimmy?”
“You bet, Mom!” Jimmy agreed, then added, “And I don't believe they'll be back anytime soon!!”
“Good thing!” Carl put in, “'Cause I've had ENOUGH of those Yokians!”
Then Libby walked over to me & asked, “Uh, Cindy? Aren't ya gonna congratulate Neutron on his big victory??”
“I, uh, well, okay, Libs,” I finally agreed, & walked over to him. I cleared my throat & tapped him lightly on his shoulder.
“Yes, Vortex?” he wanted to know after turning around, “Can I help you??”
“I- um, just wanted to- uh, congratulate you on your victory over the Yokians, heh, heh!” I stuttered shyly, looking at the ground.
“I appreciate that, Vo- I mean, Cindy! That means a lot to me!” Jimmy told me.
“Sure! Uh, no problem!” I replied, then walked back over to Libby & quietly asked, “How was that?”
She just gave me a wink & a thumbs-up.
Then Natalie walked up to Jimmy & high-5ed him, saying, “Way to go, bro!”
Suddenly, someone pushed their way roughly through the crowd & to the front of it. Then she shouted at her, “Natalie, what in the f***in' h*** are you trying to pull??!! You're coming with ME, young lady!!!!!”
That's when Judy marched up to the deranged woman, who'd grabbed Natalie by the wrist & was starting to drag her off, (I later learned that her name was Kaitlyn) & separated Natalie & her. Then she barked loudly at Kaitlyn, “Hey!! Hands off my daughter, ma'am!!! Just WHO do you think you are??!!!”
“I happen to be the rightful parent of Jaime, here!!” Kaitlyn shot back, gesturing towards Natalie.
“Natalie!!!” Natalie shouted aggressively.
“Like it matters... I'm the legal birth parent of this child you claim is yours!!!” she yelled at Judy.
“For your information, missy, she ran away from you & my family & I happened to find her sobbing on the side of the road!! So, after talking with her, she agreed to become part of our family!!!! And I have the adoption papers to prove it!!!” Judy snapped at her.
By then, the crowd behind them & the rest of us had pretty much dissipated, all except for Hugh, who was clearly glad his wife had the upper hand in this argument.
“Oh, yeah??! Where ARE they??!!” Kaitlyn hissed.
“Online,” Judy informed her sharply.
“Well, in case you haven't noticed, there's not a computer with Internet access within MILES of this alley!!” she pointed out harshly.
At that, Jimmy cleared his throat & interjected, “Excuse me, but I believe I can help with that! Goddard, Internet Access Procedure 12; File Name: Natalie Neutron!”
Goddard barked & displayed the adoption forms Judy had signed a few years earlier, soon printing them from the bottom of his display screen.
Judy took them & said to Jimmy, “Thanks, sweetie.” Then she showed them to Kaitlyn & taunted, “Ha! Here's proof that she now belongs to MY family!!!”
After reading them & seeing Judy's signature, Kaitlyn groaned angrily & shouted, “FINE!!! See if I care!!” Then she stormed off to who knows where, grumbling furiously under her breath.
“Thanks, Mom!” Natalie thanked her, giving her a hug.
Judy hugged her back & replied, “No problem, sweetie!”
Then I saw that our camp counselors, Sarah & Randy, had stayed behind, as well, along with the rest of the campers. I noticed that they had their camp uniforms back on instead of those intergalactic suits & their hair was back to normal.
They walked up to us & Sarah said, “Well, since there's still 4 days left of camp, let's all head back there!”
“Sarah, in case you haven't noticed, we happen to be without descent transportation!” I pointed out.
“Good point,” she noted.
“I just remembered! I have a spare fuel supply in the rear of my rocket!!” Jimmy suddenly exclaimed. He walked over to it & opened a hatch near the afterburner. He pulled out the spare fuel supply & poured it into the fuel tank.
“In case you haven't noticed, Spew-tron, there are more people to transport than your rocket can carry!” I told him.
“Touché,” he muttered to himself. Then he added, “Looks like I can only transport 5 people at a time, & there's 14 of us altogether. However, I do have my space car, & that can hold 15 people snugly. I'll be right back! I'm gonna go switch vehicles! C'mon, boy!”
He & Goddard climbed into his rocket & blasted off. He soon returned driving his space car he won on Intergalactic Showdown.
We all climbed into it & he took us back to camp, where we spent the rest of the week rock climbing, canoeing, & obstacle course racing, which my team, the girls, won. (Yes!!!!) We were only rained out one day, & that was Tuesday. We went back home on Friday, thankful for a fun, eventful time at Camp Sunnydale.

Brilliant work as usual, Em!
I especially loved the Natalie character--seeing as the fic was more than one episode, lol it was a joy to read!

It was intended to look more like a movie, but I'm glad you love it!! Took me quite a while to finish that one!
