I hate this movie/book so much I had to start a fanclub for people who hate this book/movie as much as I do.

After hearing everyone talking about it in school that it came out on DVD, I just want to burn all the copies of the book and burn the DVD's.

This book should never have been written or made into a movie.

Join this club if you hate it as much as I do.

Twilight, go die!

I haven't read the books or seen the movie - I'm actually not allowed to. O.o
But I've done my research. (I'm not gonna hate something I know nothing about)

*sits down*. So...yeaaaaah...I love vampires. I hate these books. Didn't bother with the movie. Stephanie Meyers is one of the most overrated authors I've ever come across. Don't get me wrong...if I had been in junior high when the books came out, I might have liked them. But after going through a few real relationships, I look at books like this and just wonder about some people....Sorry, Bella's a walking Mary Sue. I do not like Mary Sues. And Edward Cullen...bleh. Can you be any more cliched?

Annoyingly enough, they took two actors from good adaptations of good books for these movies. Kirsten Stewart was amazing in the movie version of Speak, and I love Robert ....can't remember his last name. He was a great Cedric Diggory. I would love to burn these books, but at least it did get some girls to read that normally wouldn't. My friends and I stopped going into Hot Topic when the movie first came out in theaters. I think one friend phrased it best when she said "It's like a really bad fanfic, where someone puts themselves as the main character."

Rant over. I really do not mean offense, I just can not stand these books. If you like them, great, that's your perogative. These are just my opinions.

I so need to join this.

I've read the first book and I saw the movie with my sister Carol.

Truthfully, the only thing out of both book and movie that I actually liked was Jasper. And Alice was ok too. But really, if the whole thing was about Jasper and Alice, they wouldn't be quite so horrendous. But alas...

I agree that Bella is a walking Mary Sue. Literally her ONLY flaw is that she's clumsy. Sorry, you need more flaws than that to be a believable character. And other than being clumsy, she has absolutely no personality.

And the Edward/Bella "romance"? First of all, Edward is a total creeper. He watches Bella in her bed when she's SLEEPING, for Pete's sake. How does that not spell stalker?

And Bella is just plain obsessed with Edward.

Edward knows what he's getting into. He knows that he's dangerous to Bella. Yet he keeps pursuing the relationship. He seems to be a really cliche character, and also a bit controlling and possessive.

Like Krista said in her Twilight review, and like I've read elsewhere, real vampires don't sparkle, and the romance seems totally sexist.

Yes, yes, I understand that. But, my father won't let me read or watch the movies.
So instead of saying, "Oh, I hate Twilight because I can't read it or watch it!"
I wanna say, "Oh, yeah. Twilight. [list bad things about it]"

*groans* Yes. I'm doomed to be associated with Stephanie Meyers. Blech. But my name actually was chosen because of Gone With the Wind (which is must better to be associated with). But the name means "Dark One", which might be why she chose it....

Thats Fine Justine. We all have our likes and dislikes.I Just didn't know how many people actually disliked it on this site. Oh well,I don't mind being a one man parade for this one. I'm not going to go and say "Oh I hate twlight!" Just because everyone els is.

I'll admitt, I don't like Bella very much either. She is a walking Mary sue. She is very annoying at times, but she does have a kind heart

I love Alice, She is adorable.
