I didn't even watch eps of Mr. Meaty. I took one look at the character pics back on Nick.com and thought, Ugh! That's SO cheap! And LAME! I'm NEVER gonna watch THIS...

People do miss the 80's and 90's, but what can anyone do? Times change, so does people's tastes. Now a days some kids like violent action Anime, as well as shows with crude humor (such as burping and such), and "Teen" shows. If they do bring back "classic" shows, today's kids wold be unfamiliar with them. Also, you can't stop time, otherwise, the space-time continuum would be disrupted. (Yes, I saw the Back To The Future movies)

You know, if I was just a young girl posting here, which I'm NOT, I would've flamed the Magic School Bus and Captain Planet. I dunno why, but I hated those shows at the time, mainly cuz there was something about that them that scared me. I guess it had to do with people getting shrunk and going inside someone else. There was an ep like that in BOTH shows. I TOTALLY remember freaking out and BEGGING my grandfather to change the channel when MSB came on one day and that particular ep was on. It's strange, but about, like, 9 years after that (I was 9 when the show scared me) I started to totally LUV the MSB! (The "Gets Lost in Space" and light-centered eps are my FAVES!) I know, weird, right? I mean, you're talkin' about something that's made for SECOND- or THIRD-GRADERS, and I STILL love it! Although, mysteriously, I STILL can't bring myself to watch that particular ep I spoke of earlier. I never quite got back to liking CP, strangely enough... Cuz he's all for recycling and saving wildlife, 2 thing's I'm ALL for. Totally... WEIRD!
