Hi comrades Neutron Knights! I know, I wasn't appearing here for a while, sorry about that. I decided that I should not leave my fellows without at least a short story about my life in general. So, here it is.

Neutron Knight Origins: Red Storm

Some weak light beams from the town reached Flank's apartment and were making the darkness not complete. Flank walked back and forth thinking, it was one of his little habits. He liked to stay in darkness, besides, it made his ill eyes hurt less. Various thoughts about his presence in the kingdom and his future flooded his mind.

He was the oldest inhabitant of the castle. He didn't talk about his life much, but, he was not young. His face with noble and very right traits seemed very youthful, but his a bit messy black hair were a little bit gray.
Flank came from the cold northern Red Empire, which disappeared a long time ago, even before some young knights were born. People said that it was the biggest and the most evil empire in the world. But, at this moment it was just history. A long time ago he came to the kingdom of Neutronia. From the beginning he served the king and, slowly, he ascended from minor roles to current queen's right hand in political affairs. He was concentrated on queen's service, running this business was his biggest pleasure. He liked to fix and make better peoples' lives. Extensive knowledge in politics, economics and philosophy made it easy. His valuation of every member and his role allowed him to keep the community friendly and strong. It was mostly organizational stuff, working with people and papers. Flank usually left the adventures for his fellow knights, sometimes sending them air and ground support when it was needed. Analytical mind, experience and his approach to the society as to an integral, synergistic family seemed to be accepted and gave good results. Every member in the community was important, everybody was a friend, had his position and opinion, everybody contributed to the society according to his talents and the society took care about every member as well as it was possible. The kind queen was the key element in the kingdom. As the Mararch, the mother of the nation, with her love and rule, she ensured the welfare of the kingdom.
A little understanding of sciences and a small laboratory were one of Flank's hobbies. Besides, Flank was able to deal with psychology, the only sphere of medicine that he knew comparatively well.
His believes were alien and incomprehensible to the locals and he mostly kept them to himself, staying a loner in this land.
Possessing Russian military technologies was also quite useful in the restless region of Neutronia. Especially useful were aviation technologies, because nothing could compete with a Flanker in the sky. He even took a new name after the beautiful plane, his old first and last names were way too long and inconvenient.

The words of one song came to his mind:

I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
I walk alone
I work alone...

It was true, but, not exactly the true. During the last times in the merry knights community he made some good friends. He even got very close with some of them. It was really nice to not be so alone and he was thankful to this kingdom for it. Moral support and immense amount of fun that were usual among the knights really made him feel better and helped to deal with this life. He could talk and have outrageous fun with his best buddies - Pigquet and Rachel. He could never forget flying on the missions, or dancing fantastic tango with his old bud, Writer Woman. The rest of the knights were fun as well. He'll never forget how epic, funny and smart was honourable lady Gwendolyn, sadly, she wasn't with the knights any more. He also met some other legendary knights, like Khalid, the Black Knight. Since in the kingdom witches weren't burnt, at nights he also had some good philosophical conversations and inappropriate fun with one young vampire-witch, living near the castle. These were definitely good times. He fondly remembered the queen, whom he adored without end, even the way how she awkwardly sat on her throne was another sign of her exceptional coolness to him. He remembered all his friends who he loved, he really didn't know what he would do and how survive without them.

He remembered a few more cheerful songs from his motherland, but, nobody would understand them.

Now he was thinking about the road in front of him. He had to make this big journey and he wanted to make it well. The other inhabitants of the castle rarely noticed him when he was working in his office, or, when he disappeared somewhere. Only he and Heaven knew where he was going. May be someday he will be able to return home.

Thanks guys.

You have no idea how I miss you, my family. This morning I had a strange (or not) feeling. I woke up and realized how close you are for me, like the closest members of my family with whom I can talk about anything. Yet, it was a bit strange that our friendship is virtual. Love ya!

Love you too Flank. If you ever need anything, just ask. I know that at least I, myself, will try and accomplish it for you.

Thanks! As you can see, it also loosely based on my life.

That song in some complicated ways just reflects my life. You can find the song in that video.
