Slow down Amelia!! :lol: Of course i understand your upset that no one's replied to your story, mainly me and I'm sorry for not noticing this before.
Anyway, I love it. It closely resembles the show and you keep the guys in character perfectly, even knowing their diolouge. And I like the plot too, compltely reminicent of the show. It was like I was wacthing a JN episode. Plus I love the new character you put there Jesse.
You did a great job Amelia. It's really good. :thumbsup:

A New Kid In Town
Chapter 9: An Important Discovery
Later on that morning, Jimmy called each of his friends through Goddard while he was in his lab.
Once inside, Cindy sharply asked, "Ya better have a good reason for bringing us down here, Nerd-tron!!" <_<
"FYI, Vortex, there seems to be a problem in tracking my evil clone. The tracking device seems to have gone missing!" :o he informed them, not really paying attention to the screen.
"Then why is there a flashing signal on yo' computer screen?" Libby pointed out, pointing at VOX's screen.
"What the-?!" Jimmy exclaimed, turning to face the screen, "I thought he'd already removed it! Why is it still giving off a signal?!"
"Neutron, did you forget that the microchip is SELF-REPLICATING??" Cindy reminded him.
"Oh, YEAH!! DUH!!!" he gasped, smacking his forehead & feeling, for once, very stupid, even thought he very much was NOT, "I must've forgotten that portion of what I said yesterday!"
She just rolled her eyes as she muttered, "Duh!"
"So that means you can still track him down & find out what he's up to?" Libby clarified.
"That's right, Libby! I guess, when it replicated itself, it was embedded in his skin, so he couldn't brush it off!" Jimmy explained.
"So, what's he up to now?" Carl asked.
"I'm finding that out as we speak, Carl," he reassured his friend, typing furiously at his keyboard.
Twenty minutes later, he came to a conclusion, but he wasn't at all happy with the results displayed on the screen. After a few moments of speechlessness, he informed them, "He not only has everyone under his control, his main post is stationed at the White House-! What the-?!"
"What is it, Jimmy?" Jesse kindly asked, batting her eyelashes.
"It appears as though, according to my radar screen, that someone else other than the 6 of us & my parents is unaffected!!" he exclaimed, typing on his keyboard, "Zooming in..."
A few moments later, the screen had only zoomed in 10 times the normal intensity. "Gas planet!" Jimmy groaned, "That's as far as it'll go, & I still can't figure out who it is! Looks like we'll have to go out & actually search for him/her! C'mon, guys!" With that, he led the group out of his lab & began searching Retroville with the help of Goddard's radar screen.
It wasn't long before the location of the individual was found. This person was somewhere inside the Candy Bar.
When they came inside the sweets shop, the found it to be deserted, or so they thought...
Sheen shrugged & said, "We came, we tried, let's go!" He started to leave when Jimmy grabbed the back of his shirt collar & gently scolded, "Not so fast, Sheen! Listen, do you hear that??"
They followed the faint whimpering noise until they came near the bathrooms, then they turned to their right. There, sitting on the ground wedged between the wall & the back of a booth seat & hugging his knees with fear in his eyes was none other than Nick Dean!
"Nick?!!" Jimmy gasped, "What are you doing here??!"

Chapter 10: Nick & Betty's Story & a Step Towards a Solution
Nick didn't respond right away; he just sat there & whimpered, "Can't...take it...Too...m-many...zombies...!"
Cindy gazed at him for a few moments, concerned, then told the others, "Go off somewhere else while I console Nick, please!"
"Vortex, I-," Jimmy began, but she didn't let him finish, saying sharply, "I said GO!!" She shook her fist at him to make herself clear.
"Point taken!" he exclaimed, backing away from her & joining the others.
"Nick," Cindy said, snapping her fingers in front of his face, "Psst, psst! Snap out of it!!"
He shook his head vigorously & stammered, "Huh? Wha-?!"
"Nick," she repeated, helping him to his feet, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I, uh, I think so, Cindy," Nick replied uneasily, then asked, "What are you doing here?"
"Just making sure you're okay, you know, after all that's happened," Cindy told him.
Then he noticed the rest of the gang sitting in a booth not too far from them & wanted to know, "Thanks, but what are they doing here?"
"It's a long story, but I don't have time to explain. What I'd like to know is what you're doing here, Nick," she wanted to know.
"You mean," Nick corrected, "What are the both of us doing here, Cindy. It's not just me."
"Who else is there?" Cindy asked.
He pointed to the girls' bathroom & informed her, "Betty. She's in the girls' bathroom."
She walked over there & opened the door. She found her huddled in the farthest corner & hugging her knees. Then she whispered to Cindy, "Is it safe to come out?"
Cindy sighed & told her, "Yes, it's safe, Betty. Come with me."
With that, she cautiously got up & followed her out, still feeling very withdrawn.
While Nick went over to the jukebox to listen to some tunes, Betty shuffled to the booth nearest the bathroom & took a seat, still hugging herself & shivering fearfully.
Jimmy happened to look up from talking with his friends & saw Betty trembling while seated at the booth, so he informed them, "Excuse me, guys, but I'm going to check on Betty & comfort her."
The others voiced their agreement as he made his way over to her.
Once Jimmy reached Betty, he sat in the seat facing her & asked, "Hey, Betty? You alright?!"
"I- I- I th-think s-s-so, J-Jimmy. A-Are the z-zombies g-gone?" Betty stammered.
"They're not zombies; they're people under the influence of a Purple Flurp that was altered by my evil clone to put them under his power & causing their mind-control. I can see that you're not one of them, & neither is Nick. Why is that?" he wanted to know.
"When he & I saw what happened to everyone else when they drank the modified Purple Flurp, we didn't want that to happen to us, so we ran over here & hid. Shortly after that is when you guys arrived. Does that explain it?" she explained.
"Yes, it does, Betty," Jimmy replied, "Thanks!"
"No problem! Thanks for sticking by me when I was afraid!" Betty thanked him.
"Anything to assist my girlfriend-!" he started to say, then stopped himself & gulped, both his hands flying over his mouth, "Oops!"
Betty noticed how Jimmy'd reacted to what he'd said & asked, "Jimmy, is everything okay?"
His hands left his mouth as he muttered, "I probably shouldn't have said that, Betty!"
"Why not? I kinda liked that!" she pointed out.
Pointing behind him, Jimmy said, "That's why!"
Right at that moment, Cindy marched furiously up to their booth & snarled, "You're not gonna like it one BIT when I'M through with you, Miss I'm-So-Beautiful-&-Perfect!!! That'll be after I'm through dealing with FrankenHead, here!!!!"
Betty lept out of her seat & snapped, looking her straight in the eye, "ExCUSE me, Miss Big Mouth?!!"
He could tell that this was going to turn into a squabble, so he jumped up out of his seat & separated them, saying sharply, "Girls, girls, PLEASE!! This is NO time for arguing!! We have a soon-to-be-worldwide crisis on our hands! So shake hands & call it a TRUCE!!!!"
"Okay, fine," Cindy hissed, & held out her hand for Betty to shake, "Truce?!"
"Truce, Cindy," Betty muttered, shaking her hand.
Then the 3 of them went back & joined the others. Now Jimmy could finally start focusing on the current situation, a small step towards find a cure for the mind-control of the whole world...

Okay, I FINALLY have Chapter 11!!! I think this chapter is what makes this fic rated PG-13! lol Enough of my yammering; here it is!

Chapter 11: A Shocking Discovery!
As the day progressed, aside from almost everyone being mind-controlled, everything was completely normal.
However, Jimmy noticed something very unusual about Nick & Betty. Every time either of them were approached or spoken to, which was fairly frequently that day, they ran off & hid, almost as if they were keeping something from the gang.
Around noon, & the 5th time Nick & Betty had run away from the gang after a brief glance at them, Jimmy was starting to believe that Nick & Betty weren't being completely honest with him & the others.
For the next couple hours, the gang separated & did whatever they found entertaining.
Then, at 3 p.m., Jimmy called them back together for a meeting in his lab.
Once they were inside with him, Cindy snapped, "So, what exactly seems to be the problem, Freak Boy?!"
"As all of you probably know," he began, glaring at Cindy for calling him yet another name, "Nick & Betty haven't acted normally during the past several hours."
"What makes their behavior abnormal, Jimmy?" Jesse asked him, spraying on her Eau de Amino Acid perfume once she was right next to him.
Libby sniffed the air & realized who the scent was coming from. She walked over to Cindy & whispered, an edge to her voice, "Girl, I know you're just doin' that to flirt with Jimmy!!"
"Libs," she quietly snapped, "For once, that isn't me! I believe it's Jesse, actually!" Cindy pointed at her to prove her point.
With that, Libby walked over to her, grabbed her arm, & pulled her aside, saying firmly, "Jesse, are ya tryin' to flirt with Jimmy or get his attention?!"
"Yeah, I'm trying to get his attention, & I'm trying to flirt with him," Jesse admitted, "He's just so cute!"
It seemed as though the scent finally drifted over to Jimmy, because he sniffed the air & asked, "What's that wonderful scent??!"
She was about to admit it was her, but Libby stopped her & told her, "Girl, let HIM come to you. Ya don't wanna seem too eager!"
He started to get up & try to find the source of the wonderful aroma, but an alarm going off on VOX's screen redirected his attention. He typed furiously on his keyboard for a few minutes, then gasped at what he beheld on the screen.
"What is it NOW, Jimmy?!" Carl exclaimed.
"I'm finding that out right now, Carl," Jimmy informed him, & typed some more. Then the results of his research came up, but he wasn't at all happy with them.
"Jumpin' Jupiter! Betty Quinlan's... ...PREGNANT???!!!" he gasped in disbelief.

Then, at 3 p.m., Jimmy called them back together for a meeting in his lab.
Once they were inside with him, Cindy snapped, "So, what exactly seems to be the problem, Freak Boy?!"
"As all of you probably know," he began, glaring at Cindy for calling him yet another name, "Nick & Betty haven't acted normally during the past several hours."
"What makes their behavior abnormal, Jimmy?" Jesse asked him, spraying on her Eau de Amino Acid perfume once she was right next to him.
Libby sniffed the air & realized who the scent was coming from. She walked over to Cindy & whispered, an edge to her voice, "Girl, I know you're just doin' that to flirt with Jimmy!!"
"Libs," she quietly snapped, "For once, that isn't me! I believe it's Jesse, actually!" Cindy pointed at her to prove her point.
With that, Libby walked over to her, grabbed her arm, & pulled her aside, saying firmly, "Jesse, are ya tryin' to flirt with Jimmy or get his attention?!"
"Yeah, I'm trying to get his attention, & I'm trying to flirt with him," Jesse admitted, "He's just so cute!"
It seemed as though the scent finally drifted over to Jimmy, because he sniffed the air & asked, "What's that wonderful scent??!"
She was about to admit it was her, but Libby stopped her & told her, "Girl, let HIM come to you. Ya don't wanna seem too eager!"
He started to get up & try to find the source of the wonderful aroma, but an alarm going off on VOX's screen redirected his attention. He typed furiously on his keyboard for a few minutes, then gasped at what he beheld on the screen.
"What is it NOW, Jimmy?!" Carl exclaimed.
"I'm finding that out right now, Carl," Jimmy informed him, & typed some more. Then the results of his research came up, but he wasn't at all happy with them.
"Jumpin' Jupiter! Betty Quinlan's... ...PREGNANT???!!!" he gasped in disbelief.
