I was up until 2 am last night. No, not doing homework. I was making the first 1 minute 20 seconds of my video for this contest. Lol, I have problems. At least it was vaguely productive procrastination.

I was a good girl. I was up late working on a psych test. Then again, I had no choice: I basically HAD to finish it last night, although in retrospect I've had time to do it today. But waiting this close to the deadline is too stressful for me. Besides, might as well finish when I was already staying up late. I'm tired today, so today wouldn't have been a good day...yuck.

I'd like to do something for this contest, but by the time I get out of school, I'll be going back to working more often and trying to just spend time with famiy and friends. And I already need to make a decent present for the Secret Santa party... I have ideas, I suppose... Depends on who I get. ;D

Alright, just finished a rough draft of my video.
It's...well, not great at the moment, but there will be time to fix it up yet. I have no idea what people will think of it, actually. It's meant to be spoofy, but I'm not sure how it will come across. We shall see...
Once I get a final version, I'll post a link here. Probably by next weekend, but it may be longer until I'm satisfied with it.

Yeah, it was actually a LOT harder to make then I thought it was going to be. It sounds silly, but it honestly stretched me creatively farther (further?) than the videos I've done before. But because of that, it probably won't be as good as my earlier videos, since it makes less sense and is more of a stretch. We'll see though. It really is just a short goofy thing. Incredibly corny, on purpose.
I'll tweak it this week to my satisfaction. We shall see.

VIDEO TIME!
I am officially submitting my video today. Woohoo!
Now, a quick explanation.
Since I had so much fun making the TOSOT trailer earlier this year, I decided to make another movie trailer!
This movie trailer is for a completely fake movie that will never exist, lol. It is basically a spoofy type thing. I'm not even sure how to describe it. Take Jimmy, Carl, and Sheen, and have them star in an overly dramatic Christmas-special-esque holiday movie spectacular. A heart-warming tale of friendship, self-discovery, and blood-pumping action sequences.
Like I said before on this topic...I have NO idea if this is actually any good. It's rather ridiculous, and it might make absolutely no sense. It is meant to be amusing, but who knows. I hope you guys like it...this was basically one big creative experiment for me.
So without further ado...My Contest Submission!
Again, this isn't meant to be taken seriously! And it isn't a trailer for anything real. I won't be making this into a fanfic, lol.

Wow, thanks Pigquet! :lol: That was quite the review! I'm REALLY glad you liked it. I was really worried that my video going to be really stupid or not make any sense, since it was for a completely fake story.

Lol, now you know why I said earlier in this thread that my idea was rather epic and challenging to do. Definitely the toughest video I've made. It makes me so happy to know that you liked it!

Oh god, Katie I love you so darn much for this video! You're not solely talented, you're gifted! I can't express ho much I adore this video.
It is so cool! So absolutely well done and such nice inputs, so darn funny and WAH it was perfect! You totally got my christmas spirit up!
Calamitous scene was so HILARIOUS I almost bit my arm as not to shake with laughter! And how you fit the voices to the characters! It was so awesome!!!
The first scene when Carl and Sheen appeared! GOD I love how they pop out the snow!
And the whole plot sounds like a amazing, HILARIOUS fanfic could come out of this! I can't imagine where you got the imagination for this, but it simply rocks like heck!
I so want to do somethin xmas-y now! :dance: *.*
And WAH Three misfits! SO awesome!!! The three misfits rescuing xmas...this really is worthy for a movie!
ANd the music and the clips and...it was a masterpiece in my eyes! :thumbsup:

Yeah, Professor Calamitous is my favorite villain - I just HAD to include him. :D
I realized after I made it that I had better caution that this wasn't actually a preview to something I was writing. I think parts of it could make a funny fanfic, too, but I wasn't planning on writing one.
Goodness, between you two I'm afraid my ego is going to swell up to obnoxious proportions! LOL. Seriously though, thank you both so much for saying such nice things about the video. It makes all the time I spent making it worth it!
