Want to join the Neutron Knights?

Well, you've come to the right place! Hear ye, hear ye, as Queen Mara reads the list of rules for membership!


QUEEN MARA: Ahem! Well, firstly, these are more like "guidelines" than actual rules, but here we go.

1) You must be a member of IDOJ

2) You must create a name and persona for your character in the Kingdom of Neutronia.

3) You may (and this is optional) provide some sort of backstory for yourself. This should be, in some small way at least, grounded in reality and in your real personality.

4) You may not give yourself ridiculous superpowers. As Krista so succinctly put it, "it's annoying when a person tries to make their abilities outdo someone elses-- THE MARY SUE KNIGHTS." All Neutron knights should have (roughly) equal powers. You can give yourself cool fighting abilities, but they should be hard earned, not just POOF! I'm super powerful.

5) You must promise to uphold the just virtues that form the core of Neutron Knighthood.



If all of that sits well with you, then you may take the Neutron Knights Oath:

I, insert name of insert place of origin, do hereby promise to uphold the truth and benevolence of knighthood. I promise to always fight for justice and for the greater good of the kingdom of Neutronia and the planet of Retroland. All these things I solemnly swear, so help me God.

Congrats! You're now a Neutron Knight! You may now report to roll call and/or post your backstory for the other knights to read!

Thanks for these guidelines, Mara. :D I was beginning to feel that we were being swarmed with new-comers who didn't fully understand the concept behind the Neutron Knights.

LOL. Well, as far as I know, no one is just born with the ability to shock people with electricity... Maybe you have some kinda funky gadget that does that? That would make you more like a Neutron Knight and less superhero-ish. Haha.

Yes, I do have a gadget that stores the electricity. Actually, it's a pair of them.

A pair of wrist cuffs, made of hematite, with an intricate network of lines that glow green when new electricity is acquired.
And they are very fashionable, as they are black. :thumbsup:

Also, I have a history in real life of giving people really nasty jolts of static electricity. So that's where THAT comes from.
