HAHA! Thanks, you didn't have to change it. Actually, pictures are often used in military stuff for better understanding. More simple, is better.
Once again, I love your story, it's great in all ways and just breathtaking. I'd say it was written by a good professional.

One more note, if you want, you can add some technical things like countermeasures to guide away a missile. (Those are something like fireworks and foil, which imitate a plane.)
