In Young Love, Neko posted a topic about The Tomorrow Boys and asked the following question - what would the episode have been like if Cindy weren't Jimmy's wife, but Libby's henchwoman?

I think this would have made the episode really, really cool. I mean, what if Future Cindy was the one chasing the kids the whole time, instead of the copbot? Admit it, that would have been really exciting, cause it would have tied together the past and future more. There could have been a BETTER confrontation between Older Jimmy and Cindy (rather than just a marital argument, even if Mrs. V's feet were pretty darn funny). I also think it would have fit with her character better. Doesn't it seem kind of strange that Cindy and Libby had nothing to do with each other in the future?

I dunno, I think it would have been really awesome. But whatev. Thoughts?

~*Mara*~ = ^.^ =

That would be amazing! And we only saw Future Libby once...can you IMAGINE the hilariously awesome level DNA Productions could have taken the future to, with Future Libby (if she decided to be more actively involved in dictating the future XD) and Future Cindy hunting down the kids with some crazy high-tech weapons? LOL.

I thought it was weird Future Cindy wasn't with Future Libby too...I mean, so she was evil. But you'd think at the very least she'd be hanging around her best friend more, trying to convince her to quit the whole evil dictator thing...

Uh, maybe I'd put a hot guy in for a cameo here and there.

But otherwise, nothin'. 8\

I think the writers were just dead set on getting in the Jimmy and Cindy being married thing, so they ignored what could have been some potentially interesting plot options.

If you think about it, the Jimmy-and-Cindy-getting-married-thingamabobby generates a few laughs to start with, but then it's just like what-in-the-heck-were-they-thinking? kind of thing.

LOOK AT ME, MOM! NO SPACES!! ONLY HYPHENS!!! WHOO!!!!

Wa-Wa-Waaaiit.....

*eye twitches*

You can't take this out :'( This was my absolute favorite part in the whole episode!!!! :'(

Although it would be interesting....but Oh NO!!!! :'(

^_^

If I could change something, I'd make the JTPH's dissapear...never existing^^ No....I guess that's no good change

I'd turn Jimmy in Nightmare in Retroville in a way cooler Monster...I know the Octopus has its own charme, but I prefer classical monsters

No thanks...I'm a vampire fan...I don't like werewolves at all.

Except for Miss Fowl as a husband. That's: <3

Yeah..but i meant things like that....Werewolves...well if one doesn't mix them up with my dearest vampires, I'm quite (notice the QUITE^^) okay with them ^_^

I'm very sorry, Jessie.

I'm more for the cursed, elegant and icy darkness of vampires, than for the wild, monster-like of werewolves

I suppose. Although, really, if they were deadset on having them married, they could've kept them that way and still thrown in a more interesting plot line. LOL, Cindy could've gone "double agent" by being married to Jimmy and acting as if she hated being dictated to, while all the while still being on her best friend's side. She could've been secretly sneaking off to help Libby... *shrugs* I dunno. The writers could've gotten creative with it. Oh, well.

Okay, in LSTN Jimmy and Cindy kiss. BUT WHY? I mean nothing really significant happened to their relationship in that episode. It was just out of the blue. I wouldn't really take away the kiss, but I'd make the ep longer and more "J/C" to it so the kiss wouldn't seem out of place.
