What now...I drew Nav! :o NO WAI!!1!

Yup.

Granted, he looks a little too much like a combo of Vash from Trigun and John Sheppard from Stargate Atlantis for my liking, but hey, what are you gonna do.

I gave April a new outfit...I wanted to draw her with a metal chest plate thingy. Thar be some symbolism goin' on with the gun and rose and whatnot (plus a reference to the famous band! What now?!) I'm really proud of that stupid rose. I drew it in like 15 sec, without a reference. Go me! :dance:

As for Lee, well...you get to see him without his helmet! It's funny...even with buzzed hair and muscles, his face STILL looks like a girl's because of his pretty, pretty eyes. What the HECK

Anyway, I hope you like. This is dedicated to anyone who ships April with either Nav or Lee, or to anyone who's a fan of any of these characters (...wait, that's like, ALL of you haha).

Well, I ship Nav/April, I love the characters, I'm a SUPER Nav fangirl (not as huge as Rach though, alas) and I practically AM April.

So, I'm sure I'll love it.

Is there anyway to make Lee NOT look like a girl?? Honestly...LOL

Man, I'm tingling w/ anticipation to see Nav. And, then, ya know, the others, too. :unsure:

Wow I LOVE THIS PICTURE.

April's pose is quite well done. I don't know why, but... I paid a LOT of attention to the gun and the rose. Maybe I'm just creepy and look for some sort of hint through pictures and "props."

You just seem to get better and better at anatomy. Nav and Lee both have well-done profiles. And Lee's facial structure jafeioajfeoa. GAH WHY ARE YOU SO FREAKING AWESOME, MARA. April is a helmet head ololol. Kidding. Her hair looks nice and whispaay. The extra color attracts some nice attention.

I must add: nifty background (lol "nifty" I'm such a nerd). It's apparent, but not so much that it's overdone.

/still can't get over April's posture.

OH OH one last thing: what is Nav's total facial expression? Lee's looks thoughtful and a bit downcast, but Nav's looks... well. Happiness by the way the corners of his mouth are pulled, but his eyes and eyebrows strike something different to me.

He was just supposed to look...good natured I suppose? I also wanted to make him look like he was "looking into the future" somehow.
I made his eyebrow a little bit more "angry" before, but he ended up looking too maniacal. And hey, let's face it, he may BE maniacal, but he pulls it off with a look of pure unadulterated innocence.

I mean, I know you and Rach are like, EPIC fans. You had already commented, though, so there was no need for me to DEMAND your input.

I guess I can just say stuff like that to Gwen and Krista because I know they won't be offended. Plus they both draw. Perhaps I should have said "all other artists on IDOJ, please comment". But that could have potentially sounded rude. I dunno.

Can I just say that big guns are hot--LOL UBER MEANS HAPPY IN GERMAN. THIS IS AN AMAZING DISCOVERY.

Anyway.

I'm staring at Lee, trying to figure out what makes him so damn girly...aaand I've decided that it is IN FACT his sexy eyelashes. They're more...prominent than Nav's.

So case closed. It's so his eyelashes.

Plus, the thing I've always loved about April's armor (and you can tell, since I attempted to draw them on the meme) are her spikes. They're so freaking...BADASS. They add to her whole alien babe thing.

And...if Future Sheen weren't in existence (LE GASP) then I'd probably be fangirling over Nav. XD

Thank you so much Mara. I am not a fangirl, you know, but, still I like to look at it too. Yes you are getting from perfect to more perfect in drawing. Yes, it sounded like an inappropriate flattery, but, you wanted to hear that, didn't you? I like their expressions, you know how to draw emotions, unlike me. I like the gun and the rose as well. Lee looks girly and sad, girls probably like it. April has "a pretty alien girl with a gun and a rose" look. Her gun looks interesting, btw. If Nav is looking into the future, he is a very strong person and can make life happy for everyone. May be he isn't exactly my role model or something like that, but, I like him and may be I even have something in common with him. But not much, I can't compare myself to hot Mara's characters, LOL!
Interesting background, did you use Photoshop as usual?

I wonder if this thing will be colored, you don't need to, but, you are just SO good at coloring...



The last thing, about sharing Nav, LOL! Gwen, you know what I imply!
