OK Knight! first I want to apologize for my little activity in your quest, but I needed a brake and now I'm here to hit it with everything, and as I've beengono for quite a long time I will need a low down ... again... I stayed in: "We found out the chest we brought home was a fake, but it left clues to the real chests location. One of the clues said "Part of me" on a pebble. We're trying to figure out if it means Calamitous or the pebble."

sorry to bother you with another summary!!!

No problem, Caballera! ^_^

We went back to Calamitous's tomb and discovered that his coffin had ancient hyroglyphics carved in the inside. We took that as a clue and went to the tomb of Queen Howsaboutislapya. On the way, I was hypnotized by Eustace to retreave the Chest for him, and Spike and Issac were injured and had to recoop in a NK safe spot, where they met two teams of Eustace fighting teams, who turned out to be not so nice.

Meanwhile, we found the Chest, and I (under hypnosis) took it and Spike to Eustace, but Issac and Rat Lady suceeded in reviving me from my trance, and taking the Chest from Eustace.

Now we're considering destoying the Chest.

Hope that helps! ^_^

All right, guys. I know what you're saying is reasonable, and I think research is a good idea here. Maybe you'll say it's just the influence the Chest most likely holds over me, and perhaps you're right, but I do feel drawn to it.

I mean, I know I'm the only person on the planet who can open this. My family is dead. I like to think I'd be able to do good with whatever is within that Chest. The thought that I could use my capabilities for good...that I could, in essence, redeem my family name...

You just have to understand. I want to be able to redeem myself; to make a difference in this effort. I've been haunted by my grandfather's actions all my life in one way or another, and doing this feels to me to be the only way I could ever free myself from that.

*leans head in hands* I...I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Maybe I just can't resist the challenge.

But do you really think that a Chest could FORCE me to do something I don't want to do? There would have to be some sort of hypnotizing device inside...

Yes, that's presicely what I'm worried about. I understand that you want to redeem your family's name, but are you prepared for the risks that you could unententionally cause a new era of darkness? That's digging your family's hole all the way to China.

*crosses arms*

I say we do some research and get some idea of what's actually IN the Chest. As long as there's nothing hypnotic in there, there is absolutely NO WAY I'd ever do something...well, evil. *grins slightly* I insist we figure out more about the Chest...just in case it CAN help us.

*closes eyes, thinking*

Hmmm...well, Eustace has been after me a long time. I wonder how long he's known about the Chest? And does that mean he knows what's in it, or is he as clueless as we are?

Knowing Eustace, my guess is that all he knows is that it'll do unspeakable evil *side glance at Spike*

*shifts uncomfortably* And knowing Professor Calamitous...well... *attempts to grin* We all know how his projects usually turn out.

True... Still, it seems so odd to me that Professor Calamitous of all people created the weapon we're all the most concerned about. How did he ever manage to FINISH it?

*laughs* Maybe it'll turn out he never did finish it and we won't even have to worry about trying to destroy the dang thing.

But we must prepare for anything! Let's not let a little carelessness destroy everything we hold dear....like my father did. -_-

Definitely not! I...I think we've all experienced loss here... We'll be very careful, Writer Woman.

Have you found any more information on the Chest yet?

I've looked in every book I could think of in this library...Ancient History of the Unknown, I, Evi-, Calamitous's autobiography. Even my journal doesn't have anything.

Hm...I was so sure someone had told me about this.... :o I know! It was the preistesses of the temple of Libbia! They must have the answer!

I vote tomorrow when we have all rested, we pay my masters a visit. ^_^

We're trying to figure out more about what's inside it before we decide to open it or not.

So, who's up for a trek into the heart of the Amazon jungle to visit some kick-but priestesses? *raises hand enthusiastically*

Um, don't hurt me, but I has an idea.

Couldn't we just destroy it?
If we're worried about whats in it, we get rid of the chest, we get rid of what's in it. I dont wanna seem like the idiot I am, but I'd think that'd be our best bet.
