The ones I got wrong were:
- the astrobars (I was inconsistent in my capitalization in the story, so I couldn't remember which spelling I used in the drugging section)
- The spelling of Nakki's last name. I got this one wrong because I actually changed her surname at the last minute. It was originally going to be something else.

What was the name of the invention that caused the kids to be launched into this mess?
How did they get to the alternate universe in the first place?
What minor event in the alternate universe causes Cindy to use the Megalomanium on Jimmy in the first place?

1) the Triangle
2) The triangle reversed the polarity of Cindy's atoms, causing them to come into conflict with the laws of physics in their universe. Thus, Cindy was pulled into an alternate universe where she would no longer conflict. When that happened, a small tear in the fabric of reality occurred, and the rest of the JN gang purposely allowed themselves to be pulled through along with Cindy.
3) In the alternate universe, Betty Quinlan came to Libby's party. This resulted in Sheen, Carl, and Jimmy staying at the party rather than returning to Jimmy's lab (where they would have gone on the whole "Tomorrow Boys" adventure). Cindy, of course, was massively jealous that Jimmy was spending all his time with Betty. So, when Libby opened her gift and Jimmy tried to take it away, she just figured it was the cherry on top of the perpetual jerk cake. So, she sprayed the "perfume" in his face to get even for what she perceived to be nasty, insensitive behavior.
