Believe me, they don't call me loopin for nuttin'! (Actually, Loopin means looser and pinhead, with the first syllables of each word put together ^_^ )
Actually, this is quite helpful for school! We've got an English free writing assignment due on February 4th, so I can just write this contest and then change the names for my assignment! YAY! It's like flipping two pancakes with one spatula! (Sorry, but I'm against killing birds with rocks :bock: )
ANYWHO, I'm probably going to do the Hill-Billy or the Kid...
Harvey J.: PICK ME!! I'M FUNNER THAN UH PIG AT A HOE DOWN!!
Riley: Yes, but I'm a cute and cuddly redheaded kid!
Harvey J.: HILL-BILLY!
Riley: KID!
Harvey: HILL-BILLY!!!
Riley: KID!!!

Although, I am a HUGE fan of Lupin, so I consider that his name is so close to my user name a bonus!

Wherever you want to set it, m'dear...although I think Ruby Holiday is a decidedly American character.QUESTION: Does the story have to based in America or w/e? I'm more comfortable writing about stuff that's familar to me, a.k.a. Australia.

You decide. ^_^Question. I have an idea, but this just occurred to me: Is Reily a boy or a girl?... That's kind of a unigender (I know there's no such word, but bear with me!) name.

After reading your story slink, I feel I should make some clarifications:I'm gonna have to edit it up a bit, but I was too excited! Here's my story!
Note to Self
Slink
1) Riley Groll can be a boy or a girl, BUT ALL THE OTHER CHARACTERS MUST RETAIN THEIR GIVEN GENDER.
2) If your story contains one of the other characters as a minor character, THEY HAVE TO RETAIN THEIR PERSONALITY AND PERTINENT INFO. (For example: if you have Riley Groll meet Ruby Holiday, then the setting must be the 1920's because that's when Ruby lived. Another example would be if you wrote a story about Violet Pinny, and Harvey Jenkins appeared in it. Harvey would still have to be a hillybilly guy with a shaggy dog, even if he's just a minor character.)
3) So, unless you WANT to include one of those extra personalities in your story, any background characters that appear should be named and created by you.
Hope this clears things up. Slink, just change the names of the two girls and you should be set. Oh, and Harvey is DEFINITELY a boy's name LOL.

Ok, thanks, Mara! Oh, and to be perfectly honest, I wasn't really trying to have the other characters in there. I just couldn't think of any names! Shh!Hope this clears things up. Slink, just change the names of the two girls and you should be set. Oh, and Harvey is DEFINITELY a boy's name LOL.

And I sure hope you say yes, 'cause I already started writing... ;)
Anyway, Mara, I had a question. When we finish the story...where do we post it?
I noticed Laura posted it on...what was it? Fanfiction press. (Sorry Laura, I haven't had time to read your story yet. but I will soon! Promise!)
So, if I DO finish it by any luck, where would I post it?
I SO know I'm not gonna win, and I can't help but feel Like I'm kind of screwing up Ruby's personality (I SO hope I don't know D:), but *shrugs* yanno.

Lol, well, I venture over to Fictionpress every so often. My home-away-from-IDOJ-home is FanFiction, though! Oh, and my email inbox! *Grin*I noticed Laura posted it on...what was it? Fanfiction press. (Sorry Laura, I haven't had time to read your story yet. but I will soon! Promise!)
I SO know I'm not gonna win, and I can't help but feel Like I'm kind of screwing up Ruby's personality (I SO hope I don't know D:), but *shrugs* yanno.
And you should TOTALLY write your own story! It couldn't be that bad, and, who knows?, you could win!
