In most fanfiction where Hugh (for some unknown reason) becomes a useless or abusive drunkard, I'm surprised the writers didn't make the story a little MORE horrific by making Carl Judy's rebound guy XD

Those are the not-so-alternate universes where the fangirls have rendered me insane at last. 8) Of course, the details are never properly mentioned, because it would detract from the drama and lulz that are the heart and soul of such writings. Thankfully, the messed up authors don't add to the misery.
