I think Nav should die, but it be a heroic, honorable death that establishes that deep down he's just a good guy with very, very sticky fingers. But yeah, he goin'. And even though it isn't really relevant to this poll, I think that AprilXLee should be strong suggested at the end of the story, but they shouldn't actually end up together. yeaaaaaaah. that my o-p-i-n-i-o-n :music:

If I HAD to pick someone, it would have to be Lee (yes, I know I voted Nav, but that was before I realized how much of a good guy he is!). Why, Mara, WHY should someone die?!!!!??? Why, I have half a mind to report this topic! (note that I said "half a mind.") That doesn't necessarily mean that I will report this topic; it's just that the idea of death in a fic makes me want to start an angry mob, it makes me so mad!!!!!! :angrymob: Seriously, Mara, having someone DIE in your fanfic is purely unethical! I chose a minor character cuz I couldn't STAND to see one of the stars die, especially Jimmy/ Dictator Jimmy! Sure, yeah, I know, he's an egomaniac set on dominating the universe, but I believe that even the hardest of hearts should be given a second chance! After all, he only acts that way cuz of the megalomanium (I can't believe I knew how to spell that!) Cindy sprayed in his face. She was mad, & she wasn't thinking. Right there's a good reason to let her & Aurora live! Now. WHO'S with me??? :angrymob: :angrymob: Click that "add reply" button if you're here to support my beliefs about this topic! Still though Mara, MUST someone die? And if you insist upon killing of one of the characters that we will probably avenge, (just to warn you :ph43r:) will you at least promise to make it a heroic, dignified, well thought-out death?

Like, give them one of those cool last lines, like "With great power comes great responsibility," Or "To die... would be an awfully big adventure."

There's no need to bicker about who's gonna die, cause Mara's just gonna ignore the riots.

But, like I said way back there, I believe that Lee's the one who will die, cause of April's prophecy, and cause that would seem right, Lee stowing away on their ship, and secretly coming along the mission. I think Lee will die saving April, as a last attempt for her to see him as a mighty hero, and not just a wimpy history geek.

That just seems right to me, call it author's intuition if you want *shrugs*

I voted for Aurora. I don't suggest that someone has to die, but if you really want to show somebody's important death there, here is my opinion. It's easy to pick up some secondary character about who nobody cares, but that would show not much. That and accidental war casualties don't have much sense. I don't appreciate much sugary happy endings where all good guys win and all bad guys are killed and even if somebody is killed, it's a minor character, who's death doesn't really afflict somebody and he die like a hero on some blowing up space battleship taking with him a good bunch of enemies. There is no tragedy or lessons, it's just plain action fighting movies for self-concentrated people. If I had to write there about death, I'd try to show by this not leaving anyone indifferent event something as important as life itself. Aurora could get close to the dictator and somehow use antidote paying her life for it. That would be like an ultimate way to express love for many, for so many victims of the dictator and... don't kill me if I am wrong here... to dictator Jimmy himself. I mean, she may still have something for him, because she had, but she was deprived of that and normal life, love and too many other things by these crazy events. So, she just wants to eliminate the evil and restore the good, where Jimmy's personality isn't evil by itself. And the price for it could happen to be somebody's life.
Like I said, I don't insist that Aurora should really die.

On the other hand, Aurora and F. Jimmy may eventually conquer all calamities and restore their lives, that would be a great ending too. Then I totally agree with Beks, Lee should die. He may take a ship, may be Desperado, come along them and make everybody a big favour helping to get through defense systems. Along doing it and dieing helping them he could confess his love to April and it will be that promised loss of a friend and a loving person for April. I think she may stay with Nav after that.

I love Nav and all, but that would create SO MUCH DRAMA IF HE DIED!!!
I mean, April will be having her moment of weakness, and Lee, who will be happy April is free, but is also feeling really guilty, will be unsure of what to do.

I think that if you let DJ die in the end, then that mean that they would have wasted a good whole chapter or so getting things to create that serum to change DJ back to good - forgot what it was called :blink: slipped my mind. I think Aurora went through so much and it would be kind of cliche in order to kill her off. Not that I don't like cliche! I would love to have that nice cliche ending where DJ and Aurora get together. That would be great. -_-

I voted April, but I couldn't decide between Lee, Nav, or her. I think that I want Nav to die more because I just don't like him and also because you couldn't kill Lee off because Lee is my boyfriend's name and how would I explain to him sitting over there on the couch that I just voted a guy out that has the same name as him. Not that it wouldn't be nice for a great Lee saves April and risked his life thing, but then again that would be cliche. AGAIN.

Oh well! Can't wait to see what happens in the end. :D
