I also notice Nick/Cindy's getting hit pretty hard too, but if Jimmy/Betty DID happen, (not saying it will), who ELSE could Cindy possibly go with ASIDE FROM Jimmy??

I know there's Carl, but he's Elke's man, so any other ideas? (& don't say Jimmy, I'm asking what you people would want for Cindy if Jimmy & Betty DID hook up!)

New rule, when J/C goes past 30 points, you can't vote for them any more. If you do, they won't be counted. And, if you vote for J/C, you can't vote against J/B. I can't have you all ganging up on poor J/B...

Isn't that a little bit unfair for the people who really really like J/C? :(

Yeah I haven't seen anyone do that...I've seen one or two people voting against J/B...but that's it.

I just meant a lot of posts against it at once.

But I know there hasn't been yet, it's just that with the favorite character game, a lot of people voted against Betty, (I only did the same with Cindy because of this, but now I won't anymore to prevent flames & arguments).


It's just that all this, "Jimmy/Cindy is the ONLY thing that could EVER work" that bothers me so much.

I know Nick/Cindy's not really the best idea, but if you mellowed him out enough in a fanfiction, (not booksmart, but enough to make him at her level in the least) then it could work in the longrun. ;)

& Jimmy/Betty, you know my feelings there.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE:

NEKOGIRL: Sorry to get on your case, NekoGirl, since I really do respect you and the J/B pairing, but I feel I gotta nag you just a little bit. First of all, asking other people not to vote against J/B because of your personal feelings is nice and all, but you shouldn't expect people to stop voting for J/C or to stop voting against J/B just because you happen to support the couple. Everyone is entitled to their own vote, and just because they vote against J/B doesn't mean they have something against you and it doesn't even mean that they hate JimmyxBetty.
Let people vote for whoever the heck they want to without giving a running commentary. We all know you like J/B and the vast majority of us respect that. Nobody is "ganging up" on the couple (it's not like users are holding secret meetings and conspiring to get rid of J/B ). It's merely coincidental that several people in a row dislike the couple and they are completely and totally entitled to vote against it without having to answer to anyone. So please, cut everyone some slack. Just because YOU choose to not vote against J/C doesn't mean that you should expect people to return the favor and not vote against J/B.

ZEACH36: Don't stop counting points for J/C after 30 points and don't remove J/B from the contest. Skewing the results to compensate for fans that might not like the JimmyxBetty pairing violates the fundamental rules in a fair competition. And come on, if a person wants to vote for J/C and against J/B in the same post, let them do it. People can vote for whoever they want to.

CALI: As an S/L fan myself, I'm not here to advocate for J/C, but you are absolutely right in your irritation over zeach36's rules and Nekogirl's complaints. It IS unfair to everyone, J/C and J/B fans alike, to skew a competition.

Sorry if I sound like a biotch, but this was REALLY starting to get on my nerves and I had to say something.
