Here's how I see it. You and Lord Voldemort meet at Villain Con one year. He wants to know how your suit works and about all the awesome stuff it can do. When you go to explain it to him, being much more simple minded and grossly lacking in intelligence, he obviously cannot understand it, and so chalks it up to another Muggle stealing magic from witches and wizards everywhere. He issues a throw down in which you slay him, but one of his Death Eaters explains the Horocrux concept to you. Though intrigued at the thought of "never" dying, you scoff at the puerile concept of "magic". However, the idea continues to grow and you think, 'Hey what the heck. I've already killed my fair share of people. What's one more if I can gain dominion over death? It's worth the experiment.' You kindly escort the Death Eater to a secret location where you have him explain further the process and when he's done, you kill him and use his murder as the one to make your Horocrux. Katie just happens to be an innocent bystander and is the unfortunate recipient of your shattered soul.

OK so I have another smart mouth question for DJ.

How is it that you came to be in possession of Katie's soul/body? Has it always been this way? and why Katie? Why do that to the poor girl?

Katie was anything BUT an innocent bystander. You have a fairly vague understanding of what transpired, but horcruxes are really not my style. The details in your story are sketchy, at best. Try again.

How do you love someone who killed your family and did God-knows-what to you while you were his prisoner? You don't. But the fact that it isn't really his fault - you know, bein' controlled by the megalomanium and all - well, it complicates things. From what I can tell, she still feels something, but hates herself for feeling it. She thinks she's weak or somethin' cause she hasn't given up on him yet, but I think it'll help her in the end. Then again, I doubt either of them would see it that way...
